  • *Update this level has been cleared by Thabeast (Thabwest on YT) also I figured out the intended strat for the shellmet section and TheRileyC and DPC figured out the intended strat for the bomb section. Considering clear this level myself with no cheese in the future.
    For context I can't clear 0% levels on 3DS but I can remake them and find strats.
    Remade and routed this entire level myself. This is a cool Japanese 50s speedrun level that I did in 6 segments.
    remaking the level took 2 hours and strat finding took about 5 hours as there's a lack of indicators in the 2nd half.
    Timer is decently tight (without transitions only ~1s to spare). If timer is an Issue you can save 2+seconds do the ending wall jumps faster by wall sliding less.
    Minor notes;
    - at 0:27 the semisolid in the actually level is 1 block lower, I moved it to save myself time recording the segment
    - The movement from 0:09-0:12 is much tighter than it looks... spin jump middle of last crystal, hold left after first bounce to bonk the bomb, bouncing on the donut I must avoid a kaizo block
    - also note* creation mistake, there isn't a block behind the saw at 0:10 making the bomb section more finnicky as it probably needs to land directly into the hole. hopefully should still work with this strat
    - not important but... Interesting behaviour landing on the para buzzy beetle as soon as it comes out of red launcher comparing 0:44 to 1:23 the buzzy has speed for way longer
