PAUL! Some of those plants do not get buried in the dirt! THEY WILL DIE!! Their Rhizome and roots will rot. All you do is glue or stick the roots into a crack or crevice on the wood. Personally put a dot of super glue at the roots and stick it to wood. Or on a small rock and you can place it anywhere in tank. The ferns and small Anubis will die planted in dirt. And good thing you got the dirt! The plants will do better😊❤

Great fish selection for the tank...neons are an old staple for a reason. The angels may eventually eat them though. Danios and Cory cats would both be great in there! And where are the platies?
Hey Paul this is Alexa the owner of badfish. When you came in to the store and we asked you not to film it was because a contractor was about to start project to fix our water that involved cutting apart a wall. Our water had been out for a week already so we couldn’t reschedule the project but like I told you in the store, you are always welcome to come back and film another time. I appreciate someone with a platform like yours taking the time to come to my store. I hope I can set you up with some cool fish in the future
I'm hoping @paulcuffaro sees this comment as I was a bit miffed at you missing out since I looked at your previous reviews and your quality looks top notch. I hate seeing you lose out on this. Sounds like a miscommunication on both sides and maybe Paul needs to clear the air. Hate to see your customer based crash simply because us fans of PC Aquatics are a bit rabid.
@@alontatuck2616 Yes it is. Paul lied by editing his video. He actually spent time in Badfish and was talking to the owner, Alexa, and she explained that they were having an emergency maintenance issue and would gladly reschedule a time he could come by to film. He agreed, but if you watch the video, when he left he went two faced as if the convo never took place and said that if he wasn't allowed to film then he's not going to buy. He's not even trying to fix the issue because to him, the drama is content and brings more engagement. I've lost a lot of respect for him just from this one video where he allows all of us to one star an innocent fish store based upon an edited video.
@@daltonreese-qp7ii No, this wasn't "editing" to fix the look. This was changing the narrative. They were going to allow him to film, but not right then as they were in the middle of a maintenance issue. Imagine you coming into a store and demanding everyone stop what they are doing to kiss your ass and cater to your video even when the people are trying to save their fishies from dying due to a plumbing crisis. Hey Paul plant enthusiast here those Anubias will start to rot being planted that deep try gluing or tying them with fish line to a rock or wood and they’ll grow nice and big for ya
Sorry to say that aqua soil is always going to come to the top, the aqua soil is actually really light so the sand settles below it with enough fish sitting through it/flow of the tank. That’s why you should use mesh bags with plastic zippers to contain the soil. The roots can easily get into the mesh.
First off, I just wanted to say that your content is awesome, and your setup looks great. However, I have a few concerns that I think might be worth discussing, as they could be beneficial for both you and others who are watching. Stocking Levels: It seemed like you added a lot of fish at once, which could lead to a significant spike in ammonia levels. While the goldfish was already cycling the tank, it may not be enough to handle the new bioload from all the additional fish. If you haven't already, I hope you’re planning on doing a large water change soon. It’s important to keep ammonia levels in check for the health of your fish. Quarantine Practices: I noticed you didn’t quarantine any of the new fish. In my experience, even if you’re only introducing a few fish, it’s crucial to quarantine them to prevent any potential illness from spreading to your existing stock. You mentioned at 16:28 that some of the fish weren’t in the best shape, which reinforces the need for a quarantine period to ensure the health of your entire tank. Acclimation Process: I saw that you acclimated the fish to temperature, but it’s also important to acclimate them to the water parameters. There can be significant differences in hardness, pH, and other factors between your tank and the store’s water. Taking this extra step can help reduce stress and improve their chances of a smooth transition. Goldfish Acclimation: I also noticed that the goldfish wasn’t acclimated to the temperature or water parameters before being placed outside. Since the conditions can vary greatly, this could lead to stress for the fish. Tank Mate Considerations: Lastly, I hope you have a plan for potential tank mate dynamics, especially with the angels and tiger barbs. It’s important to monitor their interactions closely and be prepared for any aggression or compatibility issues that may arise. Just some unsolicited advise take it or leave it man.

build the goats a bridge over to the tree trunk and build a platform for them to hangout on. An orchard near me has a goat bridge and its pretty cool looking at goats walking around 20' above your head.

Hey Paul!! All the Anubias and Ferns plants need to hace the rizome part of the stem out above the substrate or else they'll die!! Hey Paul I know your a fish guy im a fish girl but hopefully to keep those live plants alive you have a plant light! Thats what helped me out I have three tanks that are all live plants and I had to find a plant light the ones I have are on Amazon and are Fairly cheap but great lights!
Paul said he was gonna give away one of them adaptive marine neptune boards to a subscriber who left a comment about wanting it and never even did anything with em....like the radions he was gifted and uses like bedroom light switch....unbelievable how these companies will send 10k worth of kit to him every month and it just goes into a pile and if it does ever get used it never gets implemented correctly.....
I know you’re looking for sand to cover the rest of the soil, but a small bit of gravel might be really good too, helps keeps the fish stimulated with different textures and if you ever want shrimp for a clean-up crew, they use it to help molt, tank is sweet though, can’t wait to see that albino shark get bigger
what about an enclose with a fishtank on the bottom with a glaspanel and a cameleon cage togheter as one, kinda like two enclosres in one. with plants growing from the top and down to the tank and freswaterfish and sticks in the tank that goes from the bottom of the tank and up etc :D

5:53 - Paul, you've deleted all the comments exposing your edit of the encounter at BadFish like you are trying to cover shit up. People, the encounter lasted longer than him being told no filming today and him walking out. Turns out Paul talked to Alexa, the owner and she explained that they were having maintenance issues and needed to drill into the walls. She asked for you to return later and that you'd be able to film but just not then because of all the maintenance workers. Your comment at the end saying that if you don't get to film then you aren't buying at the store is MISLEADING. They were going to allow you to film, just not right then and there. So you fabricated drama and now a bunch of your fans are making one star reviews screwing over a really nice place. You need to re-edit this video and also apologize to Alexa and Badfish for messing with their livelyhood simply because you needed to create drama for content.
Get the sand online and have it shipped overnight lol My first fish were neons and zebras. Have had blood hearts, the red tips, angels, mollys, fancy guppies, Betta, and others... Usually smaller fish, which are pretty, colorful and school.
The buenos aires tetras are friken cool fish. But one down side on them is they will eat your plants they are know plant eater. The tiger barbs are cool but are fin nippers. Maybe take them out and let them in the backyard pond outside to keep the angels safe maybe. And some cory cats and loaches would be cool in there. And would love to see some dojo/weather loaches in the backyard pond
Can you still get bloody/Rummy nose tetras? When I was in my late teens, early twenties I worked at a mom and pop pet store and I loved how they looked! You got a great variety of fish the tank is going to look amazing!

Hey Paul, great video! I would consider putting a background on the tank, it would bring the colour of the plants and the fish out. Keep up the good work and keep at it 🔥
A study has shown that backgrounds on fish tanks reduce photosynthesis in tank plants.
Bad fish was an awesome name for fish store. Great sublime song 🥰
Paul lied by fake editing his video. The owner talked to Paul when he was in the shop and told him that at the moment they were having maintenance issues and she wanted to reschedule a time for him to come in and film. That was all deleted footage and all he showed was him leaving and saying that if he wasn't allowed to film then he wasn't going to buy there which is TOTALLY a misrepresentation of what actually happened. Shows how two-faced Paul is.
By the way i love the little bit of dirt peeking out around the plants looks so realistic 😊
Realistic? How?
Love your videos! My granddaughter was over this week and I had to show her this video and the one of you getting your Zebra Shark. So was so excited about them that we were watching your videos together all week. We are so excited about your new freshwater tank and love the Zebra Shark. He is so amazing! Thanks so much for your time and love you give to all of your animals and I find your videos so informative. My favorite in your new tank is the angels.
The tiger barbs will attack the tetra fish
You really should of got an aquascaper in, that tank is making my eye twitch its so sporadic 🤣
build the goats a bridge over to the tree trunk and build a platform for them to hangout on. An orchard near me has a goat bridge and its pretty cool looking at goats walking around 20' above your head.
The rainbow Sharks are some of my favorite community fish. My grandfather had a massive one in his aquarium when I was a kid and I would always just watch him when I would visit.
Tiger barbs will tear up
thats what i was thinking i breed tiger barbs
Dont think he will read these types of comments
@@Yhxwrth yeah he would probably consider them hate comments when were just trying to give advice/constructive criticism
@@justinaharms fr
@@Yhxwrth it’s a shame because he doesn’t actually have the knowledge and just chucks whatever from the shop in a tank for content. People who watch these videos are hobbyists and know what they are doing.
I grew up with fish tanks, and My favorites are the Neon Tetras and Angel Fish. My all-time favorite though is the Beta's
GET A NET ON THAT SHARK POND PAUL!
he's waiting for the shark to jump out first
@@teezy_she’s gotta get that content that’ll get him the clicks 🤪
I wish I was in FL. I've watched your vids for years. I saw the pleco in the shop when you went to buy fish. I can't find a 2 inch minimum pleco here in Maine and flying to FL to buy one is a tad extreme.
All the stores saying no videos are losing a lot of money lol
Dudes about to get fired for sure!!!!
@paulcuffaro , I ordered my shirt and it’s on the way😊!!!! Bummer on the first fish store shop☹️. However, you got an awesome selection of fish at the second store!!! Your 125 gallon tank looks great! The Angel fish are my favorite!
Tank looks good with all the different fish. GOOD JOB!
Get the rope fish!!!
There’s no ground coverage for them
Hey Paul!! All the Anubias and Ferns plants need to hace the rizome part of the stem out above the substrate or else they'll die!! Anubias and ferns are actually very hardy plants so it might take a while but if the rizome is buried they will most definitely die 👌🏽. Keep up the great vids and I'm loving your salt water ponds!! Watching you from El Salvador btw!! 🇸🇻
That guy at bad fish might have hurt himself not letting yall film in there. I’m sure the other smaller places yall have gone n filmed in are doing better since yall filmed in their stores.
Bad fish? More like "Bad Business" haha
I'd love if you got a couple Dalmation mollies and a couple sailfins. They're such friendly fish. Mine used to swim right into my hand.
7:48 yeah we shouod
Love tank but could use some more colors of fish like blues and reds. My fav are angel fish years ago I had a tank and tried breeding angel fish. Was great fun thanks for video hugs to all
Shame he didn’t get any Clown Loaches.
Jungle Val is one of the best plants to get in an aquarium. It practically grows itself and will fill you up with greenery
Why was that worker in bad fish so rude bro didn’t even say hi to yall he just yelled at you guys immediately
He likely just set that store out of business.
It's more like "bad business" that dude just turned away a free $50,000+ endorsement hahah when the owner realizes the money that dbag just turned away would go viral if it gets recorded
Literally so disappointing everyone is gonna leave a bad review
I had a tank with cherry barbs and Roseline Sharks, it was such a beautiful tank with lots of color. You shoukd definitely get the roseline sharks!
No filming?? You just lost free advertising haha. You got illegal fish in there?
Bad fish? More like "bad business"
Hey Paul, you should take out the fake decor in the 125 and add real driftwood it will benefit the tank in 100 ways! Would also make it more natural for your fish! Nice stocking options by the way glad to see these videos back
The rope fish would be so nice in that tank
In the end, he is just a TH-camr and knows nothing about fish and ironically his whole TH-cam channel is based on fishes.
Why aren't you more famous?!
Because he's not on Only Fans?
FRRRRRRRR
Birds have a crop that their food goes into.I like the two different colors I think it’s cool.
Please get the rope fish! It would be something so unique for the new tank!
I actually Love the scape with some black !! looks more natural like " Landscape "
Get the rope fish!
👀
@@paulcuffaro it will eat most of the other fish in the tank. I think you should get a separate tank incase you want to buy it for a video
@@kokohaha3604 Ropefish are basically harmless to other fish
@@kokohaha3604he does zero research. Can’t even be bothered to do the absolute basics.
@@adogellolol no they arent
I know you’re looking for sand to cover the rest of the soil, but a small bit of gravel might be really good too, helps keeps the fish stimulated with different textures and if you ever want shrimp for a clean-up crew, they use it to help molt, tank is sweet though, can’t wait to see that albino shark get bigger
Paul, you should look into the Bolivian, Angel, and Electric Blue Rams. Great community fish and SUPER colorful. A Bushy Nose Pleco will do great too.
That rope fish would look so cool swimming in that little house. Like a little dragon!
what about an enclose with a fishtank on the bottom with a glaspanel and a cameleon cage togheter as one, kinda like two enclosres in one. with plants growing from the top and down to the tank and freswaterfish and sticks in the tank that goes from the bottom of the tank and up etc :D
You should do a collab with Tanner from Serpadesign. Have him scape a planted freshwater community tank for you. It would be epic bro. Plus you would learn so much from him.
Tanner has been pretty vocal about not working with creators who are animal hoarders with absolutely terrible animal husbandry skills, of which Paul is one of the worst offenders.
Doubt Tanner would involve himself with someone like Paul
*Keep up the amazingly fabulous work!*
Please get the Rope Fish💪💪💪
Me and my beautiful wife just finished ordering our shirts. Wish us luck.
I never understood why places say no video taping. Dude just costed the store a huge pay day.
Well their name is "Bad Business" oh wait it's Bad fish... Erhm guess that employee missed that memo
I never understood the whole concept of just showing up with a camera and start filming without asking. The whole entitlement mentality is so wrong.
@@michaelrasmussen9630 well, it gives the store free publicity
Love the community tank and all the new fish! My favorite are the neons and angels!
Get the rope fish
You should get a black ghosr knife fish! they look so cool. I had one in my community tank. also maybe some dwarf frogs!
Badfish... bad decision 😂
More like "Bad Business" haha
Love you Paul you inspired me for a 55 gallon tank and I love it -thank you

For algae, you should get a bunch of Otocinclus, like 20. They stay small and do a great job of keeping the tank clean.
I was always told not to mix tiger barbs with angel fish since the Tigers are fin eaters.
Give the background a black color and it will make the aquarium look nicer and the fish will be brighter in color.😊
Hey paul. Just a tip for you, tiger barbs are very fin nippy and will nip the angel fish fins.
Can you still get bloody/Rummy nose tetras? When I was in my late teens, early twenties I worked at a mom and pop pet store and I loved how they looked! You got a great variety of fish the tank is going to look amazing!
You'll love those Colombian tetras! I have a school of them that started with 6, and now I have 20 .... they multiply when they're happy.
