    the glass toilet room was the best idea because just being able to see that no one is lurking inside can give peace of mind.

    i have a fascination with architecture and urban planning, and this was not an aspect i have thought that much about! super interesting and very important!

    Very overlooked topic. Planning around toilets is one of the biggest hassles when I travel with my family anywhere that involves being any serious distance away from a hotel room.

    4:24 I wonder how many Japanese people see someone filming & playing with the toilet lock/privacy glass, roll their eyes & think ‘another visitor’ 😂 I mean the first ‘village of toilets’ you went into
