Yann you're a beast for uploading all of these to TH-cam in proper quality without an intro and shit like that. Labeled nicely and in a playlist for ease of use.
Thanks a bunch.

I'm just laughing that there's an Owl City song in the playlist tho
Just magical, as it should be - really brought a memorable track from my childhood back to life. Thanks Ian.
I love using these songs for my D&D sessions, I'm glad a lot of my players are either too old to know Runescape or weren't geeky until recently so no one recognizes any songs.
Literally putting these songs into my playlist in preparation for starting my first D&D campaign!
Came here exactly for this! RS OST is just perfect for it.
My opinion on the new orchestrated RS soundtrack is that the softer songs such as This one, Horizon and Magic dance sound beautiful and really benefit from having real instruments. However tracks which have a heavier, bassy sound such as Fanfare, Castle Wars and the main theme seem to lack power in the song that the original MIDI had. The only exception for me so far is Pest Control, which is accompanied by electronic chords and bass, adding more to the song that the other lack.
+YokusaHHart This is precisely my feeling about the music too.
+YokusaHHart I fully agree.
The only track that I feel was really "ruined" by the RS3 rework was Doorways, which went from having very subtle drums under the B and C parts to having Massive Pounding Drums over everything but the coda. Also, it was massively sped up, going from two minutes twenty seconds to one minute thirty-five. Doorways was never soft and never used gentle voices, but the pre-RS3 version has a contemplative feel; in the new version, the orchestra sounds like they want to get it over with.
SingularCherubim Oh lol I really like Doorways RS3 compared to old Doorways, makes going through the wilderness more intense imo :o
I think both versions of doorway is fine, but I don't really like the Doorways' replacement
I loved this. I wish this was on spotify
This track always makes me contemplate how far I've come.
This Old Runescape song makes me want to learn how to play the Harp. A true masterpiece composed by a true professional.
Oh, the memories...
Nothing interesting happens
false; a beautiful track is playing in the background, where it comes from one doesn't know...
nibble on some sliced mushrooms: something (very) interesting happens
@@snowywhite2160It’s a reference to when you use an item on an item, to no effect.
I'm not crying, you're crying.
I was worried they would mess up my fave part at 2:11, but they actually made it quite nice
Wrong notes
this is the third favorite runescape song greetings from the finnish boy
I guess you could say ... we are never "Finnished" playing RuneScape.
Personally, I think I prefer the original to this one, but that's mostly nostalgia speaking. By itself, this song is still beautiful.
Always have to come back to this one
Go on chop da willow trees at Draynor's!
+Lee & the BOT Wrong place lool
***** no, looool
Thank you for these uploads
Thank you so much, i cant thank you enough for uploading this song :')
oh lord, that picture :')
This has become such a beautifull soundtrack!
how come is this so beautiful
thx ian taylor
Damn, this makes me think of rayman 3. And thats a good thing
Ooh yeah, I'd say it reminds me of the first level The Fairy Council, when you're inside the palace looking for Andre :D
Looks like someone has played my favorite game of all time! :D
+Koen Dekker Hmm I'm not sure if I can decide whether Rayman 2 or 3 is my favourite
Hell I used to play Rayman 2 a lot when I was young!
+Ryan Crins Cheers, Rayman 2 is awesome too!
Did anyone else come to this swamp to grind those rats and frogs?
This soundtrack became a lot more tranquil than I remember... I like it
truly a magical piece of music
I want to cry
I wonder if people using the ruined alters to travel back in time to siphon their rune energy was actually what led to them being ruined. I stoped playing a couple of years after the Wizard Tower update, so I don’t know what came of the Runecrafting storyline.
Reminds me of some of the OoT warp music in the first third
Wonderful choir
My goodness, RS3 music is fucking fantastic.
As an OSRS player I want to hate but this is still hauntingly beautiful just like the first. Both songs stand on their own merit. Ian-Taylor's music is breathtaking.
I wonder if Runescape ever intends to make a separate version of the game with different controls. I've always known it to be click based for movement and selection but I've often wondered if the game would've been an improved experience with movement based on buttons like the standard Arrow keys or W,A,S,D keys.
That would be amazingm
This is somewhat similar to Rachel’s Song by Vangelis
I am a mage!!!! A real one.
The music is sweeter than my redberry pies. I love it a lot and it sounds a lot more enjoyable than the original. ^^
Spooky!
not all the reworks are good, but this one definitely is.
This remake of the song is so popular, but it sounds nothing like the old version :(. No nostalgiafeel™
I prefer the original because the eery feeling of urgency from this part th-cam.com/video/Dwa-81884m8/w-d-xo.html is not in this remake.
This shit is 🔥
kinda reminds me of fable tlc
Was just listening to the new Sea Shanty 2 and thought the exact same! There's definitely a fable influence running through these compositions.
#Since2009
2009scape is the version they should have brought back.
I dont really like the female voices, i feel they are too sharp :( Everything about the piece is perfect ♡
I love how these godlike songs were made at the start of RS3 but now they're all just irrelevant because players are all at prif or wr etc. Fally lumby etc are useless places to loiter around and the game has lost so much of its tranquil atmosphere because of it
It's not the same.
pritty
just not the same :(
Yeah, it's better.
ew, the synthesizer in the beginning of the osrs version literally makes this track. Making everything orchestral and taking out the synthesizer is not remastering - its downgrading.
You sound like a typical 50 year old neckbeard
still prefer the osrs version
so overdone
