Hi it was very helful video but i hv a question if im not using the readymade colored cocoa butter instead making it den what should be the temperature of cocoa butter?
Another cool video. You make me want to try so many things!!🤩 It’s hard to keep track and remember what I want to do first hihi. Just wondering: what kind of brushes do you use and how do you know if a brush is food safe? Thanks
A few questions ... Are the colored cocoa butters already tempered, or must you temper when you get them? You used Chef Rubber and Roxy & Rich ... do you have a preference? Last question ... for someone wanting to make their first step into working with chocolate (and wanting to start with bon bons) do you recommend any particular chocolate that may be more “forgiving”?
The colors come already tempered. I don't really have a preference between Chef Rubber and Roxy& Rich. I like the small Chef Rubber bottles more because they come with a handy nozzle :) I would recommend using chocolate couverture of high quality. Not necessary because it's more forgiving but because it tastes better. I liked to use Valrhona but here in the US lots of people are working with Callebaut. I'd say chocolate is forgiving no matter what quality you use. I should add that "candy melt" or any "chocolate" with veggie oil is not the real deal and I would avoid these for bon bons or truffles.
Good question. I've tried it only once and it was a disaster lol. I used food coloring you'd use for painting easter eggs, cookies and such. The food coloring I used was waaaay to runny and because it's water based, it didn't "bond" with my chocolate. Maybe there's a way to do it and I don't know about it.
Hello nice little video, only thing is that you should start with your colours 1st then finish with white as on dark choc it will pop out. The white as a very last coat will ac as a primer, so you basically paint backward if that make sense. It will really bring your colours out. trust me. I would like to show you results but can not share a photo here and don't want to spoil you lovely little tuto with a link to my website either. Keep practicing and share with us more video.
Absolutely right. I thought the same after I was done. Thank you so much for sharing! If you want to send me pictures feel free to send them on Instagram. That might be the easiest way :)
Awesome - dumb question - once the transfer sheet is used, can it be cleaned and reused? or is it a one time use on the sheets? I have learned a lot from you! Thank you! M

What material these sheets are made out of?
It’s an acetate sheet. Something like this:

Can you ever use regular food coloring to decorate bonbons or does it always have to be colored coco butter?

Did you try the plastic wrap?
No I haven’t. What do you mean with plastic wrap?
@@angilearnshowtochocolate I mean the cling film but use it individually
@@Sadhell0012 ahhh got it. No I never tried it but sounds intriguing
@@angilearnshowtochocolate 🤑Yes, it also saves money and time

No dumb question at all! You can reuse them but the biggest issue is to clean them properly without any smears or weird streaks.
Mam share more videos of making transfer sheet
I’ll add it to my list 😊
"I will start out with a white"
A white what exactly? I have no idea what to get and I'm not eating paint
It’s colored cocoa butter. FDA approved 😀
