Amazing! If I closed my eyes, I would’ve thought I was listening to a missing/ unreleased track from the McLaughlin/ DiMeola/ Di Lucia “Guitar Trio” album. Bravo!
The sound you hear of the left guitar is mainly the pure acoustic sound captured with 2 Oktava MC012 microphones. The guitar was also plugged in in a Polytone amp which you can see in the corner and that sound is partly, but only very weakish, mixed in the final sound. The right guitar is only the acoustic sound.
im on tenor sax but im self-learnt and call the notes as i hear them even though im on a Bflat instrument , so tenor sax notation needs to be untranscibed for me to use it. (i still haven't found the Wise-One sax notes anywhere that don't need to be re written for me) but guitar notation really helps because its in concert C. Do you know where i can get the classical notation for your guitar melody on this track?

Thank you for not straying from the original, and instead encapsulating Coltrane’s vibe, as best as possible on a guitar. You’re a great player.
Timeless. You really captured the essence of this tune. Guitars are great too.
