I would say it would not be D&D, everybody forgets rules and effects of their spells sometimes. They were in a highly stressful situation. Of course us watching at home we remember everything, because we are not about to die. I remember a really nice dragon encounter where the DM was doing a really good job of instilling fear in us. He really nailed it and even if it was not my first rodeo with a dragon, I was scared. It was such a bad situation that I forgot to cast feather fall on the two guys that jumped on the dragon's back and the dragon shook them off. I was thinking about it the whole time, then one of our NPC friends was eaten by the dragon and died and another friend was thrown into the mineshaft wall right in front of me and knocked out. Total panic and I forgot. It happens to everybody and they are playing in front of a camera as well.

I remember this old game I used to play, Robin Hood, the legend of Sherwood. There was this one mission where Robin had to infiltrate Leicester castle to speak to its good lord to aid them in their endeavours, but he couldn't kill any of his men. So what I did is I took all the Merry Men with non lethal weapons and/or KO abilities, ones that can tie people up and ones that can carry them. I literally went across the ENTIRE map, KOing everyone I layed my eyes on and after binding them carried them to the far corner of the map XD I could just imagine some peasant casually walking through the woods and just seeing this pile of a hundred or so men all tied up on the ground... Also, since I liked replaying the game a lot, I did that mission multiple times, and one time I forgot to tie up one of the guards I carried to "the pile". By the time I was in the castle and was about to speak to the lord, the music suddenly changed pase, and all of the horizontal, dark red pips on the map started getting upright and bright, indicating that thet're up again, and they just started swarming all the areas of the map, raising the alarm and looking for me. I believe all this is info from last episode so not super spoilery but still SPOILER in case you're here without having seen last episode I guess So, anyone have any ideas for what this other source of power below the abbey could be? Was the abbottess (spelling?) just harmlessly investigating some old abandoned tunnels under the abbey when she discovered some forgotten shrine or ancient prison to a demonic entity there? (perhaps the very same woman in chains from Qillek's vision, unless that was somehow the abbottess herself?)
For the courtesy of others: Spoilers I think the Abbottess is the chained woman, and the power below the Abby is a demonic figure/something to do with Starbane that's twisting her for it's own use.
If the cathedral is older than the town and the tunnels are older than the cathedral then whatever is down there possibly predates Starbane's arrival on aerois... It's probably some supernatural force that also has dominion over fire and is supplanting genuine worship of Palor with worship of itself. Not everything evil is Starbane.

QUESTION! Is there a playlist of all the music you use in the background? Because I would love to have some new musics for my players to have in the background
God me
Guys, I love the show. I really do. Have not missed an episode since "Cam Buckland dont-give-a-fuckland" but... 1 hour 49 minutes trying to sneak into church? Then party fights their way in anyway? Wow Mark was super super super patient with that sneak attempt! I really enjoy the new campaign and back stories of races. Dragonborn living star ships?!? What?!? Killer D&D ya'll! Keep up the eeeeexxxccceellent work!
i thought that i remembered Mark announcing a homebrew sorcerer class based on color but i cant find it anywhere, did i just think that that happened or can i just not find it?
nvm, i think it's only been released to his patreon
I thought my phone was broken when the stream went black. Phew.
Que the mission impossible opening theme song. Hey stupid idea. But what would happen if tinny sentry was used as a railgun slug with nova using levitate and quil using gust would that be bludgeoning or piercing damage?
Sentry the little tin soldier
shame they missed an assassin's creed momment were they thow a torch down the bell tower and jump before it bursts into flames...
What a good episode
Time to drop a few Bunker Busters on the Abby.
This is the most F-bombs ive ever heard from Mark in a stream 😂
Side note about bardic inspiration, you're not supposed to be able to inspire yourself. But meh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Lore bards can but they get that ability at a much higher level
*HEAVY FECKING SPOILER ALERT*
They're still so happy here, just wait for the next episode, or watch it on twitch for free (i missed the stream so I checked and the VOD is already there for free).
I believe all this is info from last episode so not super spoilery but still SPOILER in case you're here without having seen last episode I guess
So, anyone have any ideas for what this other source of power below the abbey could be?
Was the abbottess (spelling?) just harmlessly investigating some old abandoned tunnels under the abbey when she discovered some forgotten shrine or ancient prison to a demonic entity there? (perhaps the very same woman in chains from Qillek's vision, unless that was somehow the abbottess herself?)
For the courtesy of others: Spoilers
I think the Abbottess is the chained woman, and the power below the Abby is a demonic figure/something to do with Starbane that's twisting her for it's own use.
@@Nathaniel_McVie I also think that the abottess is the chained woman and I have a feeling it's got something to do with starebane too
If the cathedral is older than the town and the tunnels are older than the cathedral then whatever is down there possibly predates Starbane's arrival on aerois... It's probably some supernatural force that also has dominion over fire and is supplanting genuine worship of Palor with worship of itself.
Not everything evil is Starbane.
maybe you already knew but "internal church balconies" are called matroneo(ita)/matroneus(latin/official name?)
If it gives you misty step once a day as an action that's actually quite shit
lol Mark, the point of reduce is it's for the enemy not the ally.
say that to my reduced gnome divination wizard who is small enough to ride his familiar/mage hand.
@@nicholasfotou2980 still the primary intent of the spell is as a debuff for the enemy. homebrewing a bunch of stuff to make it into a buff for allies just does not make sense. however to each their own, I suppose.
I'm 4 more episodes from being all cached up ahhhhh I'm to excited that I just want to skip but if I do that then I miss things whyyyyy must I be so exited and why do you have to have such a good and intriguing campaign (the first campaign I have ever watched btw)
i was so scared that nova was going to die omg
Generic awesome comment to increase TH-cam analytics
misty step bonus action:(
I think that quill should have a feather Damascus dagger
"Not even gonna roll, it fuckin decimates them"
Would of been the perfect time for a fire bear
I haven't finished the episode yet. I really hope they don't get the little girl killed. :/
But Aila should have 40 feet. It's a 10 foot movement speed increase at 5th level for barbarians
Are they 5th level yet though? Otherwise Quill would have a better spell save DC surely?
plus she had advantage of dexterity saving throws but never used it
@@Jayzor92 they're level 4 here
And 2 attacks
