My man I was just about to comment on the unlined loafers, cause I’ve searched all over, and it seems that there is no review on these, I really am curious how these wear especially when going through a lot of security checks!
I have some Meermin bit loafers... I find it hard to believe these use nicer leather or have better construction than Meermin at that price point. I don't love the orange finish on the soles, and while the leather looks good at a glance, I can tell you that, even with age, my meermin seconds look better than those... From what I can tell. And hey, I'd love to hear I'm wrong, I'd love to have a new shoe brand to explore, but I'm not ordering a pair yet.
Do you have any you’d recommend? I have rather small feet so Jay Butler have been my go to since they do smaller sizes but I’m always open to alternatives.

Suede is seasonal. Brown leather is usually in stock with several styles and most sizes. I’d say go for the brown leather Bit or Penny. If not, keep an eye out every 3-6 months for a new drop.
With slip ons and loafers it is common to go a half size down from what you normally wear in dress shoes. Really, there are no laces or elastic bands to keep you foot secure, so you’ll want a snug, but comfortable fit. Jay Butler’s are supposed to fit true to size, but they always felt larger than advertised for me.
These look nice but the international shipping cost is absurd. A pair of shoes plus shipping/duties to Canada would run me around $300USD, so $400CAD. It just doesn't make sense.

I got my second pair resoled immediately. I own two pairs. The original sole wears down quickly in the front which bugs my soul. If you're doing less walking they are fine, but I walk everywhere in NY.

Certainly. I wear those red ones all the time casually!
Generally speaking, the tassel loafer is the most formal. Bit and Penny loafers can easily dress up or down.
Would love if you did a video similar to the white sneaker video for loafers! The bass weejuns are around 110 and I've heard good things about them

From day one, I will never buy anything recommended by TMF, nor should anyone else. Fork out the extra $100 dollar for loafers and get the AE.
