People should give a second thought about me. All who leave me should not be thought of as God. All that should come, which is going to come, is better than all that was gone. God and Jesus should open major doors in my life. I should not look like Rasputia Latimore in body shape. God is my source, and he is my reward. God and Jesus should do the impossible for me. God should block every curse, sickness, person, or situation blocking my progress. I should make it because I'm going to. Amen.

I am feeling the need to make a statement here. I am a child of God, born with a purpose defined by God, yet a sinner. Jesus Christ is my Savior and I have been given the gift of grace through his sacrifice on the cross. I am on a journey to the end of my life, striving to be more like Jesus. I find comfort in The Word of God and prayer. I know that when Jesus died on that cross, it was my sin that held him there but God loves us so much that he sacrificed His Son for me. I find this fact one of the most profound and overwhelming things in my life! I do not need to argue semantics or theology. This is my simple statement of faith, and I stand by it. I do none of this on my own. It is simply through God that I come to the cross of Jesus.

I am interested in what you have to say! And I do not take offense. We all come to the Word through different avenues. Part of it is our own perception, part of it is based on what we read, what we hear, and what our heart tells us. I was baptized as a child but I believe that I have come to know Christ in a much deeper way through reading the Bible myself, hearing the word, and even through Beth. I don't just depend on what she has to say so that is not an issue for me.
