Just coming to the comment section to say that YOU changed your life using the Naked palette all those years ago. As we have seen in the years since, many neutral palettes have the same shades and are totally dupe-able. But YOU DID THAT (actually many times over now-ha!) and changed your own life and perspective by tapping into your own determination reserves and charting the course for many others to be inspired and follow in your footsteps. So THANK YOU from all of us. ❤
@@courtlandtmartin6649 I appreciate you so much for your encouragement ♥️ all these years and palettes you’ve been right there with me. I’m thrilled and grateful that I help make a positive impact 🥹
Thank you for the review! After viewing the video, you left me thinking on a TOP 5 or TOP 10 eyeshadow formulas. UD is the most expensive and famous palette I have on my collection and would like to splurge on something better. Take care, cheers from Mexico!
I remember watching your pan that palette update 10 years ago for the first time and being fascinated by the idea. I immediately found the closest dupe in my collection which happened to be a nyx eyeshadow/lipstick palette. I spent months using it and never hit pan 😂 I learned very quickly that I use barely any product and don't like complicated looks. From that moment on, anytime I saw the UD naked palette I would remember your videos. Such a lovely walk down memory lane. Crazy to think it's been a decade already. Seems like just a couple years ago. I definitely won't be buying the palette. I've learned that singles and quads are much more my preference. Can't wait to hear your thoughts ❤
This is everything I needed that I didn't know I needed. Thank you for filming, your perspective is so valuable to me. I'd love a comparison between the two of the UD and ND Glam. I'm curious how the shades compare. But as always, thanks for your video and channel. You've been a panning inspiration for me.
It might feel so cool toned because you've been panning warm shadows . However It looks beautiful on you ,and I feel like they need to just make it permanent. Thanks for the review ❤️ I watched you pan it back then 😂
Omg how has it been 10 years since you panned this palette. Time flies. I repurchased this palette too. I've missed it so much and for months been trying to find a dupe and came up with nothing.
I had the one with the eyeliner. I remember all the neutral palettes being beige and tan and not woman of color friendly. I still thought this one could be better, but it was trying. Then came all the warm palettes.
When I need panning inspiration, I go back to your old "Panning the Naked Palette" Playlist. Heather Austin did a side by side comparison of the old and new versions of the Naked palette, and Buck is noticeably cooler toned. I'm still deciding whether or not I want to pick it up, as I did buy one in 2018 when it was discontinued. But that was 6 years ago, sooo..
Amber, I freaking love this look. Naked was my first eyeshadow palette, and I still have it, but Naked 2 was my favorite. I might buy this again but I still use my old one and no issues, if it was Naked 2 I would not think twice.
I’m so happy you did this video and I was happy you have a new one. I couln’t tell if you were going to get it or not. I watched you pan this!!! I think you were the only one on TH-cam doing it. I did watch someone else way back then too but I can’t remember if she did hers right after yours. She panned the too faced chocolate bar and she was not nearly as joyful as you! 😄. She sounded tortured! She said she would never do it again. I don’t think I’ve seen her after that but she did it! I actually love the urban decay formula but I think I am going to pass on it since I have the Glam palette. I appreciate so much that Urban Decay gave their customers what they have been asking for. I had been complaining all the naked’s were too warm or too colorful. I have naked reloaded and I would have much preferred this one.
Makes sense to me that it’s more cool toned. If they removed the carmine to make it vegan, my understanding is that that’s the best red. YOU LOOK LOVELY AND IM HERE FOR IT❤ and YES to a dupe palette and MORE LOOKS. please and thank you. 🙏
Thank you, Pamela! The closest dupe palette wise I have is ND glam but I know if I want to find shade by shade it can be done. I already have a dupe for the newer version of the shade Naked, Smog and Darkhorse right in my old school MAC in the flesh palette and some of the other shades are similar to sin and the matte version of creep and gunmetal. I also remember finding similarities with the LORAC pro as I panned it back in the day. Neutral shades are going to pop up and end up looking very, very similar when you get down to brass tacks with these palettes!
Funny, because I've been watching older vids I never saw before, to see looks with the Naked Smoky, (my only Naked palette), not that I'm shy of the shades; but it's fun to catch a whiff of the old BeauTube vibe and the energy of everyone having the same stuff when there wasn't such an embarrassment of choice as now.
Oh my goodness, yes to bringing back a solid red lip like Ruby Woo! I know back in the day when I was panning naked, my go- to red was actually MAC Russian Red but now I like the brightness of Ruby Woo and complimentary reds from other brands. I remember having some updates with red lips through the years because if they are trendy or not, awesome. I just love red as a power shade!
I’ve not seen anyone compare this to the Glam palette but I’m definitely going to pull mine out as the Naked palette isn’t available here (yet, hopefully as I really want it!). The problem I have with Natasha Denona shades is that they disappear on me after just a couple of hours wear
If you own the ND glam palette, the 3rd shade of the top row is a very similar shade. On the eyes, it is difficult to distinguish them separately. I haven't gone though my entire collection to find more dupes but since these two palettes share similarities, it made me automatically check to see. Have fun shopping your stash!
@@alishacuddy2473 I’ve never taken on an entire ND palette unless you count the mini biba. At this point I have completely finished multiple shades and hit pan in quite a few♥️
@@beudmama I'm guess it took a while to pan the shades kinda like too faced shadows. Oh just curious how much eyeshadow do you own? I hope you have something from sydney grace, I'd love to see something of theirs panned, or if you know someone who has.
@@alishacuddy2473 I think I own around 30 palettes-likely a little more bc I have a bunch of Lorac and color pop condensed into a massive palette. It feels much more manageable at least. I’m sure someone here has likely panned Sydney Grace before-I’ve never tried that formula but definitely agree the shadows are stunning when I’ve seen content about them😍
@@beudmama I really think you should pick up a 9 pan palette and try sydney grace in general. So since commenting on this video the hype about the naked palette starting to get to me 😅 and it becoming tempting to pick up.
It may be my phone, but I'm seeing your foundation too yellow, and if that's true in real life it may make your eyeshadow look cooler than it actually is. Moreover, you're using tons of warm tones, so you're not used anymore to see yourself with slightly cooler shades
I have UD Naked 1 from 2018, ND Glam, MAC Connected in Color Nudes ans ABH Sultry 9 pan and basically they are all the same. I love UD and MAC formulas foe being buildable but also love ND formula for its blendability. I won't be buying the new one as Ive noticed as you have also said everything comes full cyrcle.
This palette is what started the whole Pan That Palette legacy! What a great trip down memory lane!
We're loving this full circle moment! The original Naked palette is BACK & BETTER THAN EVER!!!! 😄💜
So glad your brand got a peek at this corner of this TH-cam and how we have a deep emotional commitment to our makeup. Thanks for all the nostalgia!

I would love to have that NYC palette again. I enjoyed it so much ten years ago.
