Its pretty realistic from what I know, in ww2 if a b17 was going down and there was no way to escape usually surviving gunners would fire until the end
why your plane dosnt explode in 90 degree crashes? mine explodes at slightst and pilot died even while landing a little too hard (not enough hard to even break gears)
Yes, but the allies refused to give them to their pilots, because they were afraid that the pilots would jump out at the first sign of danger. The Germans issued them late in the war.
umm you really dont know history parachutes were only issued to pilots in ww2 and to some blimp pilots in ww1 so rise of flight is incorrect in giving parachutes
suggestion: in il2 sturmovik, crash into a whole squadron of c47 skytrains with an me 262 and make sure all c47s go down and to add to the challenge the me 262 pilot has to survive the crash
New friend I've made: "So are you into any hobbies?"
Me: "I like to simulate every conceivable way I could possibly die in any ww1 aircraft."
You've gotta love the professionalism of the gunners, firing till the very end.
It's heroic sure, but it is annoying in the game cause you're getting holes in your plane but you don't know where they are coming from.
There's a beast. Deep inside you. It will not die, it will fight back

"Sir, when do we bail out?"
"Whenever you like. Its not like you'll have a parachute."
Me: fires 1 bullet at a ww1 plane
Wings, all 4 of them: ight imma head out
I was about to say “it really feels like these things are made of paper sometimes”
Then I realized.
0:14 another cool explosion 😁
Planes in this game be like: *gets hit with one bullet*
Wings: *I've gotta get outta here!*
Nice video

Noice
What I would like to see is landings and takeoffs
1:44 what plane is that
"Ilya Muromets" is the name if the plane its russian
nice
Were there already parachutes for the pilots at that time ?
In one sequence you can see the pilot getting out with an parashut.

@@aapje: tks.

The Red Baron had a parachute when he died. U might be the one who doesn’t know the history
👍👍👍
makes me want a pc
Save up!
I never got why World War 1 planes never explode upon impact but World War 2 planes explode upon impact when doing a nosedive
Small fuel tanks, usually only light munitions on board, and much slower speeds resulting in lower energy crashes.
You see Gaijin?

Just the german pilots have parachutte, ok?
Will we see Chad's father or grandfather for Easter time 😆?
First, technically but Renwick was the first like
Nop you are the 2
man if only War Thunder had these damage physics
shouldnt the actual fuselage collapse ? i know its reinforced but, come on its a biplane lol
a lot of these crashes seem to defy the laws of physics.
Yeah. IL2 has inaccurate physics and crashes and ROF has weird wing folding animations.
You
Noooo
