Hello dear EBM! I learned a lot from this channel!! It would be unfair not to say thank you for all the information that helped me understand the DV lottery and my preparations for the interview. I was yesterday March 30, 2023 at the US Embassy in Kinshasa for my interview / DV2023. I didn't even do a minute in front of the consular officer. After 5 short questions, the lady said to me : “Congratulations, I grant you your visa and good luck in the USA”. My passport remained at the embassy for the rest of the process. It was a quick and simple interview.

Very true. I am a dv lottery winner and I won in my first year of trying. I was asked just four questions like, My highest level of education, why I want to travel to the US, the address of the person I will be living with in the US, and and if I intend to further my education.

Yes its true its takes only two or three menuties of interview because my gym friends had these type of interview he is selected for diversity visa of USA and he tode me like that its not hard interview its so easy and now he is in amirica he applied from Afghanistan.

Sir am more relieved after watching this video. My interview is scheduled in July, but I have a worry. My husband lives in the USA and still seeking asylum as a result he hasn't got residence permit. As much as I gave his address, I didn't give it as my host, I gave another host who lives in another state,,if asked at the embassy am to give the address of the stated host and not my husband's address, please help clarify me

I have my dv visa expired on 19 of December 2023, I arrive to JFK airport on 7 of November 2023, I give them the envelope, they make STAMP on my passport, so I validate my visa in usa ,I spend 4 days in new York, and I come back to Morocco on 12 of November because I have the university examinations, so my question is:can I come back to usa with STAMP of my dv Visa without problem, and how much time should stay in Morocco

What happens if you made an error by changing the order of names on the dv entry application? For example, names of main applicant was correctly entered but those of dependents interchanged in error, and vice versa.

Hi sir if I don't have a host.
You cant come to the USA. You cant be allowed to come to be homeless. You have to find a host or rent apartment. You must indicate the address where to stay in the visa form. Without the address you cant complete and submit the visa form, DS260

I've got a quick question. What if you win the lottery, let's say you are a Ghanian citizen but currently residing in UAE, will they conduct the interview in UAE or Ghana. Do you have to go back to your country, and are you still free to move from UAE to Ghana without interfering with these processes?
