I got him so early in the game. I was happy like a little child. Rushed it to level him to 60. And than he was weak in nearly all the Dungeons. Now I'm between Lvl 16 to 18 in all the Dungeons and I've build him new. He's slappin the spider like crazy now 😊 And I'm no where near your gear. Coldheart and Royale Guard are my favorite Champs in this game...
Thanks for all you do for the Raid Community! Also thanks for the video. Have had him forever now. Heard he was great. I never had any luck with him. Makes more sense as I never quite had the proper gear for him. Still probably don't really. Nonetheless I'm far more capable of getting closer now. Thanks to you, I also know better how to build him. Although I've done my homework, and have come a long way since I started. Thanks again for your efforts!
Just in time! I pulled Royal Guard, Tayrel, and Sandlashed Survivor on this event. Didn't get a Lego but I got some really S-tier Epics! Also a big help for my Faction Wars.

Thanks man! After this video I found my RG collecting dustbunnies in the vault. I dusted him of, got him some half proper gear. Pushed his level from 40 to 60 and finally got passed Spider 11, and immediately 12 and 13 (hurray! 6 star gear!). Got me a second RG last weekend in the 2x pull event. Now I'm finally able to get some decent artifacts and push the level of my other champs, waiting for amulets and banners.
100% agree with your statement about him being hard to use early game. I pulled him really early and was super excited for him to carry me straight to lvl20 dungeons! He died right away and did terrible damage in my bad gear hah

Wow,i knew,but still damn those hits are insane. I made an error unrelated to this but worth noting for newer ppl. I have too many chars now that need gearing and upgrading,was too busy collecting to get better one’s,not nearly enough on those i actually have,now its a huge issue on who to gear,what to give,cost of upgrading etc,gear them all as they come guys,or if you get a few together figure out which is first,get the gear required,then use them while gaining whats needed for others so you gain lvls while grinding gear for the next one. Great stuff HH.
Faction Wars got in the way of me levelling and building out a second Royal Guard. As cool as it would be change my 90s Spider 20 Farm into a 20-30s farm with 2 RGs and Kymar, it's definitely a nice to have luxury compared to completing Faction Wars right now.

Heh, watched the mid game and half expected to see an "oops" since High Katun would be the target due to affinity but you literally took zero hits. Then watched Spider, and the voids get hit due to affinity... lol.
What's hilarious is now I HAVE a Royal Guard and I haven't bothered to build him out I pulled him at the same time that I got a Scyl of the Drakes! a while back...fusing Drexthar some time later & a little bit later getting him to 60 because I saved food just for his use and fully ascended him. I regeared Drexthar because he was too squishy and I'm still trying to get his gear maxed out I will replace his gear AGAIN if I find better defense and hp pieces!
Just what I needed. I’m mid-game and I don’t even use that dude bc I have a bunch of good defensive legos that never die: I couldn’t keep him alive. So yea. Thx! Now I can build him.
True, but the sum of all the stats is really not end game material. I am mid game and I can definitely get better stats than than that, even with crappy great hall
Hey hh, I was wondering if you could try and use rg with someone with high crit aura and someone who puts increase crit rate, so that you can increase the crit damage a lot and crit rate is not a requirement, I would love to see how much maximum crit damage you can get to with your gear, would be fun, please try it if you can
@@HellHades Just for your information, notice that your frozen banshee got resisted by the dragon because rare champions need higher accuracy compare to epic and legendary. Rares need at least 250, Epics need at least 200 and legendaries at least 180, to be able to land debuffs in level 20 dugeons. You can thank me later.
Love the vids - super helpful, and have kept me interested in RAID. Something I think would be useful is that although you are building a mid-game RG, that gear is insane for early-mid gamers. I could maybe reproduce those numbers, with no good gear left for anyone else ;). It may be nice to have you comment on what stats should be sacrificed for others until better gear is available.

Could you do a video on how to beat last 2-3 levels in 4 main dungeons? There are tons of clips on how to beat last lv dungeons, but for example, lv 19 spider is red, lv 20 is green. How do you get over lv 19 to get to lv 20?
The one my F2P got I actually built based on how Coldheart is from that video figuring they'd be the same, lol. Just wish I had an actual healer like Apoc on that one though - had to compromise a bit on stats to make sure he had LS gear for some low end CB work and actually survive dungeons. Though having the luck to get him and a CH on that account early has helped some.
Thank you HH, I could not make him work for me so went with multiple coldhearts as easier to build and tome up. He is still at back of the queue until i can book him up. Raid is my day job nd you are my guru. That said, like Husk, you are over selling the overall use of this champion. There are better options/algorythms.

Apparantly you are better off getting 10% more crit damage than Attack %. So I would recommend getting the crit damage set and prefering crit damage over attack % in substats.
I have two, but just one is so powerful I haven’t even built the second yet. Was waiting for a skill reset champ like renegade or kymar, but I think I’ll just build the other one up. Awesome vid as always

Love this champ. Just wish I had that god-tier gear! That "mid-game" build is actually a bit overkill. He only needs around 170 speed and 200 accuracy. >.
I have three Royal Guards and trying to build a speed nuke team for spider 20 using - Ghostborn, RG, RG, RG, Kymar. But I'm struggeling to get their speed and damage high enough... Does anyone have experience with this comp or similar? Great vid btw mr HH! :]
Nice video on him still learning the game in quite early game unfortunately so late game champions will be almost completely useless and I've yet to get him either so I will come back to this when I'm more progressed through the game. Its a major pain to be new to Raid but better late than never right?
I have a royal guard from the beginning. But at lvl 40 he isn't impressive and he's been sitting in my vault ever since lol. Pulling a septimus really early aswell, didn't help with me needing him.

Would you be able to do a break down of what a base stat needs to be (how low) before flat stat items are better then % based items? For example if a character has a base defense of 500 then a chest that gives them 50% will add 250 defense where as a flat stat of defense might add 400... if that makes sense..

I just pulled him today from a sacred shard was disappointed it wasn't a legendary but im glad he's a good epic
While reviewing the gear your head is blocking most the stats, use some sort of overlay so we can what you are talking aboot

I opened 18 Ancient shards and didn’t get one Epic or Legendary, but I already have Royal Guard a month ago & he’s a beast.
Might be a good video idea to discuss different champs when you would look for Sets over Stats....

I need a regearing. I have 2 RG's and they only hit like 200 to 300k on bosses with def down and weaken and an att up on him.
