Glad I found your channel Nathan. Just purchased one during their labor day sale. I have a rucksack I guess it's called I use for duck hunting just to throw some of my gear in, but this is a true backpack. I will have to get used to the fact that this pack doesn't close up completely with that tripod system they use. I guess all their packs are made that way. thanks. .
Hahahah I agree with you, love all the pockets but I lose my gear as well. But this is the first season with Kuiu packs. And im switch between two packs... Now I want 2 of everything. Thanks for the video! Ohh I went with the 2000 over the 1200 and 1500
When I carry pack usually during rut when I might need extra layer at some point extra gloves maybe some scent spray calls so don't need alot mayb snacks
Nice review, thanks. Just stumbled upon your channel and look forward to seeing more gear reviews. Also I think we might have been in boy scouts together for a bit...troop 18?
Yep troop 18 out of Reidland. I graduated '04 so a few years younger than you. Definitely a small world. I can definitely see your channel growing with this content and your production quality. Good luck with the channel man!
If using it to carry a bow , would you recommend the bow carry attachments Kuiu offers ? Is this pack compatible with those attachments ? How would you carry the bow in the field ? Thank you for the review . Just what I needed to see 🤘🏼👍🏼
Yes, the bow holder will work with the pack since it has connection webbing loops. The pack is on sale right now for $99! Thanks for checking the video out.
I can fit my smaller Macbook Air where the water bladder holder is. I also fit in a 24-70 and 70-200 in the main compartment, I do suggest keeping them in some sort of padded storage holder they typically come with. In the very front pouch you can put 2 mirrorless bodies if needed. Plenty of pockets for extra batteries and such. Bag just doesn’t offer the typical padded protection a true camera pack does.
Not really. I've rigged up my 350 Legend to fit in the back side that has a bottom zipper designed for tripod legs and had the gun barrel facing down. The buttstock of the gun was held in by the upper clips from the bag. Good for a short distance.
Climbing sticks yes. I run the Skeletors across the top of the bag horizontal and clip them with the smaller clips at the top of the bag. As far as the platform you might be pushing it. You could possibly crisscross the bottom straps through the platform and connect them to the opposing sides of the bag. Not sure how secure all that would be on the bag.

Glad my video helped. The back tripod pouch takes a little to get use to, but you can do some creative things with it.

That's a great pack! I love that you can remove the waist belt, it makes it so much more versatile. Thanks for the comment.
Great review Nate👍🏼🔥
Appreciate it!
When not put in the bush, could this pivot into a EDC to and from work bag with laptop transportation and such?
You sure can. The main storage compartment can hold a laptop. Lots of pockets for organization as well.

You said you use it for travel, would a 15 inch laptop fit in the pack easy enough do you think?
I can fit my 16” Mac Pro with no issues in the larger zip portion.

Great review- is the color you have “ash”?
Yep
how would this do as a edc/photography bag? is there a spot for laptop?

Is the open center big enough for a saddle platform?
No it’s not wide enough. I do put my climbing sticks horizontal across the top and it holds those fine.
Water bottle holders on side are too short.
They are a little short but you can use the side straps for the taller water bottles.
Is it quite
Yes
Is it big enough to zip up a rifle?

Any way to strap a predator platform & climbing sticks to that pack??
