Filmed across the country - in locations ranging from Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, Stax Museum of American Soul Music, Relix Studio, and the Alabama Theatre - Tunes for the Tongass exists at the intersection of live music and environmental activism. Beginning May 6, 2021, and each Thursday for the following 9 weeks, one song will premiere at 4PM ET on Relix's TH-cam Channel.

So well done Suzanne. I listened to and taped the MSG show where you performed. I believe I recall the tune Chinese Bones, can't recall what else you sang that evening, my apologies, the 62 year old memory isn't quite what it once was. Think Hall & Oates came out as well. Mick Taylor? Though I could be mixing up Dead MSG performances and guests coming out. I recall an interview where Jerry mentioned you, don't recall specifics though I do recall he clearly had fond memories, warm feelings from performing with you. Garcia was just that way, always joyful sharing music, and a truly good person. Spent a significant portion of my younger days seeing the Grateful Dead, and they could be magic, the real deal. Miss those days, and the amazing, beautiful spirit that was shared by those in attendence. Need that now as much as ever. Thank you again for the beautiful performance captured here.

Just wonderful!...I bought the "Deadicated" album for these two songs years back, and to hear them again, reworked, with Gerry on guitar is just superb. Thank you both!!

This is great, but I think Vega would agree, Billy strings and crew capture the sound the dead wish they could. Talent abounds from places the dead could only dare show us the path to. BS and crew are the fruition.
