How Chains Are Made

Chain production starts with a wire that is pulled and lubricated to minimize its shape. A machine pushes and bends the wire around a steel pin to create the actual chain. The process is repeated until a freshly-welded long chain is created, after which it's heated and then cooled to harden the product.
