I think you are such a natural, expert teacher, I love the way you turngold farming in WoW into an interesting study topic. The videos make me want to try what you recommend!
I like the adding of the tools and stats part aswel because last time I played that stuff wasn't there so it's nice to learn from someone experiences with it.
Greetings everyone :) I am playing on EU. This year, I had a challenging start in Dragonflight goldmaking. Unfortunately, I couldn't play the second season due to a shoulder operation and only re-entered in the third season. Thanks to your detailed and clear guides, I was able to build up an alt army and fully max out 8 professions. Consequently, I was well-prepared for the start of the third season and could enter several new markets. My fundamental understanding of goldmaking completely changed and evolved during the third season. In this regard, thank you very much for the great videos and the effort behind them! Best regards from Germany.
@@Penguinr2gt Hello, unfortunately, the shoulder is not fully healed yet, but I'm working on it intensively. I'm also working towards achieving my first Goldcap and hope to reach it before Season 4 (with the help of your guides, of course!). Wishing you a Merry Christmas, good health, and a happy New Year!
Thanks for being so insanely in-depth about it all. Haven't played wow for a while and some things changed yet again since last time so got a bit confused at first trying to get back into it. Also had to get a bit of feel of the market again , starting to get the hang of it and getting somewhat decent profits but as you just confirmed ( and I guessed ) at so far , is the fact that the newest bags sell good. Probably none of the older bags sell really good anymore etc and are too costly to make in comparison. I tried selling the cheaper bags a ton of time for various prices but it really didn't sell , seeing this just explains to me people always want the newest expansion bags pretty much. Fair enough I guess :)
Great video with lots of good ideas for beginners and goldmakers alike. One thing I will say though that often gets overlooked in goldmaking videos is the avg sales per day for an item. This is especially important for one-time-purchases like toys, where they average daily sold can be in the 0.03 range.
Thanks for watching ssjgokillo! I agree with you, sale rate is important and I wouldn't recommend trying to make toys your main source of income. Toys will definitely always have lower sales rates than bolts, bags, etc. due to their type of item, but I still highly recommend throwing them up on the AH. They won't be your main source of income, but a few sales every week or so can make a difference in your monthly profit.
I hadn't really done any goldmaking since BFA with the Uncanny gear and i picked it up recently again, i made arround 900k this month and at this rate i will quikcly have enough gold to get the next expansion in epic edition just with golds. The goldmaking community is awesome and your video were super helpful :D I also dreamt that i was looting a Pendulum of Doom from Uldaman and that's when i decided i had to take a break from running it :D (I play on EU and thank you for the giveaway :) )
hahaha! I wish that dream came true! Uncanny gear is definitely a BfA hidden gem, I sold off a old crafted staff just a few days ago myself. Thank you so much for watching the videos!
[NA] Professions were my main way to farm gold, crafting and just a little bit of farming resources. (Thank you so much for your guides, that really helped me a lot, you are the best Penguin! 😁)
Thanks for another great video - tailoring is the only profession I keep up to date regularly and when I take a 3 or 6 month break I can jump right back into it when I return. Bags Bags and more bags!!
My favorite goldmaking event this year is when I discovered PvP trinkets (all by myself!) 8 months into the expansion and they were selling so well that I actually got tired of restocking every 10 mins :)
I think this is the first time I'd seen having 3 different profession tools to swap to as a tip, and I've got an alt army. Always some nugget of info to learn in these videos. 😳
Happy holidays!!! I really need to get on my Dragonflight profession game. I have eight alts I need to level to 70, and I think you've convinced me to have all of them be tailors (and I think I'll split the three gather professions between them to potentially get some Rousing Order along the way; maybe switch them to Alchemy once they ding 70 to do the transmute cooldowns with them as well if that's profitable). Sorry I've been slacking on the comments this xpac, the Dragonflight profession system has had me sticking to old world stuff and farming instead of current content so not a lot to say. I hope you're doing well and school is not cramping your style too much. Thank you for the video and big happy holidays to the whole Penguin family!!!
I discovered I can always sell sturdy Expedition shovels. Also, discovering your channel has helped me a lot with specializations and starting with gold making. Thank you
It needs to be noted that, with the exception of bags and toys, everything you make with WoW professions depends heavily on your skill points. You have close to 100 weeks of skill points you have gained and spent in tailoring, but new tailors start at zero. Since there is no catch-up mechanic in the game, new tailors will not be able to catch up with those that started day 1 of the expac. It should also be noted that your crafting tools would cost at least 20k gold to have crafted on my server (would have been several hundred thousand gold closer to the beginning of the expac), so you should plan on investing all your profits into these tools for a few months before you make any real profits. WoW professions have changed a great deal with this expac, and jumping in any time after week one is generally a waste of time and money.
Honestly, I quit playing in 2007, came back a month ago, it really doesn't take long to farm the mats you need to start work orders, now that's a whole different beast from what I can see. I only bought what I absolutely had to, sold off mats for cooking to supplement that. Just saying what isn't worth it for you, doesn't apply to the entire community. Everyone enjoys the game differently and at thier pace.
Hello - I play on EU. Thank you for the goldmaking content you've been doing, and most of all (in my case) for the TSM Groups for Dragonflight! My favourite goldmaking-related aspect this year has without a doubt been the Crafting Order system!
I started playing retail for the first time last December and thanks to your videos and lazygoldmaker, I played the entire year by using only wow tokens which I never thought I could do that lol. Other little thing I'm proud of I sold enough wildercloth bags to buy one token last few months lol, yea goldmaking is fun I didnt even know this side of the game when I started. Happy Christmas and happy new year everyone. Also I like noodles yes I watch it all and I play on EU cya
I’m NA. My favorite thing that happened this year in goldmaking was being able to pay for two accounts using wrath gold for several concurrent months by mostly flipping with some crafting thrown in.
Great video!! My favorite event is christmas going on now, as it´s fun and hopefully I get the cute mount which almost nets a month or gives gold to do so much... Im playing on EU and as a retuning/new player i´ve been farming gold in other ways and raid. But since 2 days ago I´ve started professions. Got alchemy full 100. Deciding on what to lvl next. Gonna go with tailoring + some other prob. Thank you for this guide! I really wanted something consistent across the board and with both passive income + some high ticket burst gold. This seems to kinda cover it all.
Fav event this year where I made a crap ton of gold was the Legacy Scholomance unlock phase as well as the re-introduction of the removed rares and items from Cata. I was working with the ATT discord community farming all day all week to help populate the addon with the items and rares. Made just over 4 mil with both events combined.
@@Penguinr2gt it was super fun as well and didn't feel like a grind or a chore. I guess it was because we all had thoughts and ideas of where the reintroduced items and rares were and just farmed until we all had the items. Would 100% do again if they have another phase like that.
My favorite food is pork ribs with rice. I haven't looked yet, but if you haven't done alchemy, I have wanted to get into that for a bit, so a video would be deuces
So, are you making gold to pay for your wow token so u can make gold to pay for your wow token? What % of your game time is used to make money to have more game time?
Personally, I do goldmaking as my main focus in WoW... I dont raid/mythic+/pvp, so basically all of my time goes into goldmaking. However, that is not the normal for a lot of people which is why I make videos like these to show you ways to make a wow token without having to dedicate your whole playtime to it.
Hey Penguin, love your videos. Long time subscriber. I'm confused about the Azureweave and Chronocloth bolts. On your screen it says it costs you around 600 ish gold to craft, but on the AH window the bolts only go as high as 600ish g as well. How are you getting a 300ish g profit per bolt?
The price to craft is the cost of the materials, but this doesn't take resourcefulness or multicraft into account. If you look at the bottom right of that screen it tells you the profit per craft, which does take those into account. Obviously that's an average expected amount and your batch is going to vary up or down, but over time with larger amounts it should balance out quite close to that amount.
ROFT is right - The cost displayed by Auctionator is purely the AH cost of materials. However CraftSim calculates and displays an Average Profit per Craft. This takes into account your inspiration, multicraft, and resourcefulness. With those factored in, on avg I make the 300g profit per bolt I craft. But since this is an avg - I could technically lose gold one craft and then make 800g another craft but it all evens out to that average profit number.
This was an amazing video!! I was wondering if you had a video on the TSM operations you use for restocking your auction house? Also my fav thing that happened for gold making was getting into transmog farming! The collector in me is always pleased when I see the collection of AH I have grow :D

Got the Lariat recipe and made great profit even tho i spend 700k on it. 40k each craft at the start of season was huge! As always ty for your fantastic content! Edit: I play on EU :))
I follow your guides and I can't feel a bit upset because I follow all the tips and guides, like yours, they are very useful and I agree with the calculations you make, but I don't know why even when I use TSM to know the Region sell rate , it is simply impossible for me to sell any of these items, I have published the same 23 items (which have been a mix of bags, items with more than 0.04 Region Sell Rate and a few more for diversity) for 5 days without success and I I feel terrible thanks for the guide, but I don't know how you and other people sell their Tmogs. I chose tailoring because people said it was the most beginner-friendly but I haven't been able to make any gold, in fact, I lost the only 4 thousand I had
Anything that stacks (materials, potions, food, etc.) is region wide. Anything that doesn't stack (armor, weapons, mounts, pets, toys, bags, etc.) is still realm specific.
Congrats icethorn! You have won the EU gametime! You have 48 hours to DM on Discord! (Username: penguinr2gt or join the Discord link in the Description of this video!)
Broccoli, yes, I said it, I really like broccoli with any variety of dishes. Carrots are a close second. and no I am not vegan, they are usually covering a steak.
Great question! and Sadly theres not really one correct answer. When recommending other professions to beginners it kinda depends on what they want to do. If you end up enjoying selling the PvP gear and/or want to get into crafting orders, I highly recommend leatherworking. But if you are more interested in the cooldowns/alt friendly professions, Alchemy cooldowns can be great (theres DF and Old world versions). A downside to Alchemy is that it isnt very beginner friendly outside of transmute cooldowns. If you like bolt selling/mass reagent selling, Jewelcrafting actually does really well.
how do I go about people constantly undercutting what I post is mass amounts that I can't afford to buy out? feels like my 34 bags I post at a time end up being sent back to me in mailbox even if i use the 48-hour option. someone always ends up undercutting me and posts about 200 at a time completely killing my hopes of a sale and dropping the price of last in first out :(
You always want to post for 12 hours and cancel scan as much as possible if you can. Its inevitable that people will post after you, however every time you re-post, you are back on top. Canceling once is better than none. Canceling twice is better than once, etc. So go back to your auctions when you can and repost. Youll get more sales
@@RLA1983 depends on what path you want to go down. When you select whatever item(s) you are interested in crafting, pull up the Specialization Info tab in CraftSim. It will tell you what specializations apply for that craft. You can then start investing into those. You will likely notice that many items have overlapping categories
I never use addons, it reads as your good but who knows. To see real profits you need more you have a tailor paired with skin alch ench eng and bs to make the most gold most days you will make 0 but by the end of the month you can net 900k average
Enchanting used to be one of my top recommendations for beginners at the start of DF... however its crafting has become very very dependent on staying on the AH and maxing your profession. I can no longer recommend it as your first crafting profession or even your third or fourth lol. But if you are looking for a more gathering-type profession, disenchanting can be very easy to just make some extra income

Got the Lariat recipe and made great profit even tho i spend 700k on it. 40k each craft at the start of season was huge! As always ty for your fantastic content! Edit: I play on EU :))
That is awesome! Thank you for watching bjerkov!
There's only one lariat recipe listed on my NA server and it's for 3 million.
@@willythemailboy2 Yea they are quite expensive now 0 listed on my server
haha favorite food, good one, spagguetis is a close one
Good pick!
noob question miss penguin , how do u open both tabs tailoring and auction house at same time or even move them however u like?
I use the addons Blizzmove and demodal
Thank you so much for all your videos, I learned a lot of it.
Im glad they are useful! Thank you for watching them!
Is all server combined for auction house? Or it only for reagents?
Anything that stacks (materials, potions, food, etc.) is region wide. Anything that doesn't stack (armor, weapons, mounts, pets, toys, bags, etc.) is still realm specific.
Oh, thanks! On my server is nothing profitable at any time, so need to create on others :D@@Penguinr2gt
what do you use to check AH trends and averages for server?
The undermine exchange website!
Cross realm trading. Made good gold selling patterns on low pop realms.
Sweet!
Dragonflight professions are a gold mine!
They really are once you get them started and leveled!
EU- Recently got back into playing wow but I would have to say farming the old dungeons during the Halloween event for transmog
The Halloween event is super fun!
Don’t know if I can agree with this… but I respect it!! Hahaha
I was farming transmog in a dungeon for a hunter and suddenly I got a sword that I sold for 200k gold. I play on EU
Woot woot! Congratulations on that great drop!
is there any DF faction's rep required for tailoring recipes that we have to grind ?
If you want all of the toys and bigger bags, yes those require rep
Not so on my server. Every single tailoring item on the AH is much cheaper than it's constituent materials.
Scalloped potatoes i’d love to see you make an enchanting guide since I have a capped prof.
Ooo a very nice pick! Ill keep Enchanting in mind as well!
EU, By watching a lot of your videos, I managed to reach 3x the one million gold (I spent 80% of it right away😅😂)
Whats the point of gold if you dont wanna spend it!!! Sounds like a good use of it to me haha
Obsidian Cobraskin!! Thank you!
What addon do you use to check the matts at the AH?
Auctionator
Thank you! @@Penguinr2gt
addon for search in market?
Pizza for sure! Cheers, thanks for the info, I'm broke af!
Pizza is great and I hope being broke changes soon!
What profession pairs best with tailoring?
Great question! and Sadly theres not really one correct answer. When recommending other professions to beginners it kinda depends on what they want to do. If you end up enjoying selling the PvP gear and/or want to get into crafting orders, I highly recommend leatherworking. But if you are more interested in the cooldowns/alt friendly professions, Alchemy cooldowns can be great (theres DF and Old world versions). A downside to Alchemy is that it isnt very beginner friendly outside of transmute cooldowns. If you like bolt selling/mass reagent selling, Jewelcrafting actually does really well.
@Penguinr2gt Thanks for the insight! I'm brand new to WoW and have been stressing in what professions to jump into 😅
Hello, I miss your videos. I would like an in-deep video about alchemy. And that best to my memory was selling enchant for like 3K profit
I'll definitely write Alchemy down! and 3k profit for an Enchant is super nice! Thank you for watching the videos six!
10:00 Esa es la compañia sagrada de Tebas. Ellos vencieron a los espartanos
love ur videos keep up the good work :)
Thank you damian!
@@Penguinr2gt anytime 😊
how do I go about people constantly undercutting what I post is mass amounts that I can't afford to buy out? feels like my 34 bags I post at a time end up being sent back to me in mailbox even if i use the 48-hour option. someone always ends up undercutting me and posts about 200 at a time completely killing my hopes of a sale and dropping the price of last in first out :(
You always want to post for 12 hours and cancel scan as much as possible if you can. Its inevitable that people will post after you, however every time you re-post, you are back on top. Canceling once is better than none. Canceling twice is better than once, etc. So go back to your auctions when you can and repost. Youll get more sales
where are you putting you profession points?
I have everything maxed besides garment crafting and the cloth collection node
@@Penguinr2gt where should I put my first day 120 points ?
@@RLA1983 depends on what path you want to go down. When you select whatever item(s) you are interested in crafting, pull up the Specialization Info tab in CraftSim. It will tell you what specializations apply for that craft. You can then start investing into those. You will likely notice that many items have overlapping categories
I never use addons, it reads as your good but who knows. To see real profits you need more you have a tailor paired with skin alch ench eng and bs to make the most gold most days you will make 0 but by the end of the month you can net 900k average
My favorite food is pot roast :D
hey , i tried to rejoin your discord and maybe patreon (not sure if you're active on there), either way the verification doesn't seem to be working ?
Mac n Cheese! Thanks for the vid!
Oooo very nice pick!
Super helpful!
Poke bowls.
Oooo a great food pick!
I got an Army of alts so i am looking for ways to profit with all of them, alongside money World Quests xD, still looking. I play in NA.
Check out the tailoring cooldowns and alchemy transmutes! Good luck!
Thanks!
Thank you for watching!
best beginner profession for making gold is enchanter. disenchant junk that doesn't sell on ah and then sell the materials.
Classically in wow it's been a common suggestion to pair Enchanting with Tailoring, so I guess maybe it's a nice combo for DF?
Enchanting used to be one of my top recommendations for beginners at the start of DF... however its crafting has become very very dependent on staying on the AH and maxing your profession. I can no longer recommend it as your first crafting profession or even your third or fourth lol. But if you are looking for a more gathering-type profession, disenchanting can be very easy to just make some extra income
making gold feels worthless since i know some ppl using bot can make 1m+ gold/h.getting gold to easy and almost all item value are to cheap.
Lots of Bot acounts have been removed
Mexican food is bomb!
Street corn is best
haha I gotta agree!

Are you as cute as you sound? Let me know.
I play on EU and I just loved feeling like a mastermind sending mats and objects from an alt to another to make stuff I could sell🥸
Haha I’m right with you!
