Getting over 35 C here during the hottest part of the day. We hike early, and I still get soaked in sweat. The expensive a/c runs all the time. The earlier you hit the trail in the am, the more animals you see and hear: squirrels, fox squirrels, many birds, turtles, armadillos, deer and the occasional snake. The animals go silent in the hottest part of the day. The cows that are lucky have little ponds to wade into. I am becoming more fond of animals. Shade trees are miracles you sit under. Breezes are nature's caress! We got home and got a hostile look for our neighbor's cat-we disturbed him as he stalked a rabbit. Cats can really give you "I'm mad" and "how dare you?" looks! :)
That is ridiculously hot, but I'm guessing kind of normal for you guys? That would be reasonably unusual weather for us. The last two summers were hot and we did reach those temperatures, even going over 40 degrees at one stage, which is not good. You have such beautiful and colourful wildlife, I would love to see an armadillo - funny little things! And the turtles. I still can't believe you have turtles, they are just the cutest little things. We have a politician who looks very much like a turtle hahaha. Yup, cats are part human, I'm sure of it. xxx
Our temperatures are in the high 90s, so it would be about 35° C for you. Hot and sunny, I'm loving it! Going out here soon to let Odin play in the hose water again 😅

That is SO hot. We haven't quite reached those temperatures, yet, which were fairly unusual until a couple of years ago. I bet Odin loves that, bless him. That sort of temperature is too hot for dogs!!! xxx
I can’t wait to start watching the new season of Bridgerton, I also loved the money music being played in classical style. Queen Charlotte was a great watch. We are having rubbish weather, we usually get cold nights and blue skies during the day in Autumn and winter, but the past couple of summers and winters have been cloudy.
I have just started on Queen Charlotte and it's fantastic. I'm just sorry I came late to the party! I really hope the weather improves for you soon. :) xxx

I am in Yorkshire & the weather is rubbish lol. Rain & more rain, it really depresses me sometimes, I cannot wear summer clothes, wrapped up in winter clothing & can't get into the garden! But I got three baby rats last week, males that turned out to be girls lol & I am having such fun with them so it makes up for the weather. I finally finished my fairy garden before this bad weather, so am able to enjoy it from the comfort of my porch & it's magical!
Up until this week the weather has been really quite awful, hasn't it? I imagine that getting three rats MORE than makes up for it! What are their names?? At least you got your fairy garden done, too. All in all it still sounds like you've had a magickal Witching Week! Love and blessings, xxx

I'm watching this on June 14th around 3:55pm..the weather in Brighton is okay, sort of...but, I wish it wouldn't rain as much...
(it doesn't help when trying to feed the foxes at the local cemetery)....I haven't really seen Bridgerton...it sounds like an interesting programme. ...
I think it's interesting with what you mentioned about witchcraft in Wales. ..interesting facts about what is happening with witchcraft...even today. ...

Same here. It rains all the time, doesn't it? Even if it's not raining it's just grey... and cold... and uninspiring. Today is awful and I really just want to go back to bed!

The weather where I am has been all over the place. A couple days ago a storm hit 2 western provinces, yesterday afternoon it hit a large portion of Ontario and into Quebec. High winds, rain, thundercsnd lightening. I wven recieved a take shelter now for a tornado (it was on the water and don't think it hit land). A lot of power outages due to trees falling on wires. Most of the town I live in, plus 3 other towns East of me went out. Mine stayed on thankfully. It's a chilly day so far today.
I don't have cable or Netflix, I do have complete seasons of 6 different TV shows on DVD. I watched the TV show Sanctuary last month (Amanda Tapping is in it), also the TV series called Sleepy Hollow. The last week and a half I've been watching the TV show GRIMM. I've seen them all before but like to rewatch them. I also have new movies, I watched Equalizer 3 (to go with the first 2) plus "A Man Called Otto".
Hi! I believe I experienced the storm you mentioned - possibly. There were 5-ish (unofficial) tornadoes about an hour west of where I live. Crazy weather for the last week for sure!
@@mandachan222 oh wow! That's a lot! It sure was one large storm passing over! We're now into a 3 day heat wave, suppose to feel like in the 40' Celsius with the humidity!
That's so extreme! We miss the extreme weather here, by and large, but you guys and our US cousins get all the crazy weather! I'm so glad the tornado managed to miss you, they must be so scary. xxx
@@the_cemetery_witch it was! The notification I received on my phone for the tornado sound like an Amber alert, Loud alarm plus vibrating.
The week of June 17th we had 4 days of extreme heat. Temperatures in the low to mid 30's Celcius, which made it feel like it was in the 40's. I bought an extra fan to help get through as I can't physically put in my air conditioner myself.
