I saw another person reacting to this video from the Honda Stage, who said that during this concert she has a cold, and was struggling with a fever the whole time, she was 39.5 degrees when she finished. And she NEVER considered canceling the concert, simply because she LOVES her audience.
The Honda stage version is a very special one. She performed with a terrible cold there. You can see it on her face and hear it in her voice, and yet she sounded beautiful.
Enjoyed your reaction! Big Aurora fan here. Try these live pieces--- A MUST!!!! -- AURORA - MURDER SONG (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert Aurora - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current) LUCKY - Live at Nidarosdomen Cathedral) ... Thanks again JR!!
@gigatoob Yeah, someone to suggest "It happened quiet" live at the current. It's really hard to pick "best performances" when it comes to Aurora but that performance is not from earth... Obviously, the song itself is a master piece already but like emotion- and expressionwise I can't even believe how insanely good it is. Yet I don't see people suggest it too often. 🙂
Please check her performance of Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1) at the Nobel Peace Prize, she was 19(?) at that time and she crushed it. Just her and a guitarist. More suggestions: - her full performance on KEXP 2018 because you get to see a bit of her amazing personality -Through The Eyes Of A Child live at Nidarosdomen (I dare you to hold your tears) - It Happened Quiet live at The Current
PLEASE React to “Murder Song (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) by her. She has a live version from the 2015 Nobel peace show. It’s very deep and dark, my favorite song of hers!
Gosh, she is pure magic that girl! Went to her concert once and was blown away (and cried like a baby). Please react to Aurora- The Seed Haik Concert Live. Chills!
Great reaction, I told you in my comment on the MV, she is mesmerizing, totally captivating. My all time favorite artist. I have read that she had a cold for this show, but, she still kills it. I love Black Water Lilies and Under the Water at this show. Those are my suggestions, I hope to see another Aurora reaction soon.
I just rewatched ur reactions from Aurora and i highly recommend watching the Live in nidarosdomen of her song: through the eyes of a child. If u havent already, its so stunning 😫😍❤️
Not her most popular nor best version of this song, but I do love it very much. In fact, I love this entire concert. The Nobel Peace Prize concert version of this song is insane, and I'm sure her most popular live performance, period. You should at least check it out on your own, assuming you don't want to react to another live version of the same song. But while we're on the subject of this Honda Stage performance, "Black Water Lilies" (show opener) has perhaps my favorite Aurora vocals ever, and the song that follows, "Under the Water" is also crazy good. Goosebumps abound! But whatever you do, please stay on the live Aurora journey. She never disappoints. I've seen fan videos of her doing impromptu a capella songs, from fan requests, and they sound ridiculously good.
this artist is a diamond, little norvegian fairy.... watch "Lucky" in the concert in NIDAROSDONEN all the concert is marvelous and if you want to hear a clear voice and breath control watch "it happened quiet" in The Current (studio)
Check out " It Happened Quiet." Also, check out her covers.. "Massive Attacks " Teardrop" ( I personally think it's better than the original) and her cover of David Bowie's " Life on Mars." Oh, and The Seed. Just fall down her rabbit hole. You will never be disappointed!
She's really interesting to watch when she sings, that adds a lot to her already beautiful singing, making the whole thing clearly captivating... "Under the Water" th-cam.com/video/zVGQWw4Ap6o/w-d-xo.html or "Black Water Lilies" th-cam.com/video/otRKDDguvyg/w-d-xo.html in the same venue are both great (well, with its vibe the whole concert is wonderful). Or in the simplest setting (a guitar, two voices), "Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1" live at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert th-cam.com/video/vh0SWTVwXxw/w-d-xo.html Anyway, thanks for the nice reaction to Aurora, this marvelous norwegian Artist.🙂👍
You should really really do 'through the eyes of a child' live at niderasdormen (not sure I spelled that right) the acoustics of the church are amazing
Amazing reaction! I loved it 🙂 I saw her live last autumn and it was amazing. I actually go to se both her and Angelina live. It was a great year, musically 🙂 Much love from Norway ♥♥♥
Really like your reactions to Aurora. I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and spoiled with numerous great artists and music. So, I had MANY “favorite” artists…..Eagles…ELO…Fleetwood Mac…Linda Ronstadt….Peter Cetera/Chicago….Steve Perry/Journey…James Taylor….Jackson Browne….Billy Joel…Paul McCartney/Wings….just to name a few. And, there’s probably 20+ more🤭🎼✌🏾🤘🏾 But, after I came across Aurora, about 2years ago now, she has moved up to the very top of my all-time favorite across. This includes her music, her performances, her crazy AMAZINGLY interesting and humorous interviews…..and, so very much humbleness….just a pure soul, brother. I got pulled into her rabbit hole(which I have not been able to want to find my way out, yet😆🤭)…by accident, seeing a vocal coach breaking down her performance of “Runaway” at the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE CONCERT……….DUDE!!!…as amazing as this video at the HONDA show is…..you’ve GOT TO react(or, just watch on your own🤙🏾🤘🏾🎼) to that Nobel Peace performance. There’s 3 tunes she performs beside “Runaway”(“Murder Song”…and, her cover of OASIS’ “Half the World Away”, which were 🤬’n amazing, too!!!)……but, that “Runaway” performance is one that has stayed with me from the day I watched it for the first time…….replaying it a insanely criminal 30+ times😬😬😬…….she made me feel like I was the only one sitting in the crowd watching her and she was giving EVERYTHING in her soul to her lyrics and it showed in her body movements, too. She has an amazing discography…..”The River”….”Daydreamer”….Giving Into the Love”….”Queendom”…SO MANY OTHERS. OH…another soul wrenching performance is her “NIDOROSDOMEN Concert” of her song “Through the Eyes of a Child”….that song is done in a cappella that I think you’d really like in the “VEVO stripped Through the Eyes of a Child”. But, that entire Nidorosdomen” show is powerfully sweet. Worth checking out. I’m a budding artist, myself. Started in my 50’s, trying to express what was suppressed deep in my soul because I had a father that thought his kids should play only sports and that we weren’t talented enough to perform/do anything in the arts. Sadly, I only my first instrument, a ukulele, when I went into the military at 21…..being from Hawai’i that is pretty rare back in my day. But, it’s is very powerful when words are put into someone’s brain that they cannot do something, sometimes. One day, I said 🤬-it…..I’m going to let my muscle memory prove to me that Dad was right or wrong……today, I play bass….learning piano, steel guitar and, of course, ukulele😁❤….. but, I’m so happy to let my inspiration flow into writing songs. And, brother….I truly can thank Aurora for the inspiration by her music, performing….but, hugely, from her interviews where she preaches to do what your soul/spirit is guiding you to……….POWERFUL, brother. I always look for artists that have reaction channels because 90% of them articulate their observations of their music reaction almost exactly what I see and feel. And, to watch your reactions ring blown away by Aurora’s music, ESPECIALLY her Live stuff, is so cool🤙🏾🤙🏾🎼. Keep up the great reactions, brother….and, much luck on your future with your channel. Love artists that can share that……MY MARIANNE(Molly Sandén) is another great singer that has that kind of amazing voice. 🎼✌🏾🤙🏾
Check out Aurora with Wardruna (sounds like ‘Vardroonah’) - Helevegen. The live version (red and black stage). Aurora is Norwegian, and she said she wrote Runaway when she was 11!
She does covers that are insane. David Bowie Life on Mars (NRK) and Imagine Dragons Believer (also NRK) seriously anytime she does one they are something entirely "other" after she is is done with them
Still, ... waiting for someone to do the live version of Warrior from the Haik Documentary "right." It's the best version of that song, and she sings it for two fans. But if you just play the song, you lose the magic, the context. Aurora is being taken on a Haik (hike) by a friend and has no control or knowledge of events. She's introduced to 3 new artists and given an hour to practice while her friend goes to get two fans who won tickets to an evening concert with Aurora not knowing that they are about to get a one song mini concert. It adds about three minutes to the song, but the before and after is what makes it so magical. She absolutely destroyed the fans emotionally, absolutely.
Loved the reaction! She’s an amazing live performer! Some other vids I’d recommend: - Through the Eyes of a Child live at Nidarosdomen (emotional and somber song that really shows off her voice) - All is Soft Inside live at KEXP (this one’s really fun and energetic) - Different Kind of Human live at NRK P3 Radio Festival (sweet little acoustic performance) - Soft Universe at Paris th-cam.com/video/8zJPRfeqNIU/w-d-xo.html (it’s an audience recording so not best quality but you can see how well she commands a stage)
Great reaction. As you said she is very expressive and mesmerizing in live performances. I also love her voice tone and generally emotions she puts into it. BTW: she wrote this song when was 11... So many her great performances and songs to check but i would recommend for next reaction Lucky live in Nidarosdomen (song she partially wrote at 9 and finished a little later).
One of my favorites of AURORA's live performances is "Heathens" :) absolutely amazing how she loses herself in a different way, definitely one to check out. :) Pretty sure it's even on her channel :)
Love the studio! LED lights are the greatest thing ever. My apartment is filled with every kind of LED imaginable. I can set any mood I want. And if I ever have someone with epilepsy attempt to break in....let's just say, they picked the wrong house. And is that a painting of Bill Murray?!
Aurora is one of the few artists that her live performances are somehow better than the studio versions, she's captivating. My fav live performance of hers is soft universe live on kexp, but anything from nidarosdomen is up there too!
If you could I recommend listening to her sing Black water Lilies live on the Honda Stage, it's like treating us to a great musical party, the climax near the end of the song is truly an icon of one of her world's best vocals 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love Aurora so much. That said, the performance she did of this song at the Nobel prize concert was definitely better. Another commenter said she was sick during this performance and that tracks. I was definitely getting the impression that she was probably a bit tired or something before I read that about her being sick. Listen to her Nobel performance of this song and the Murder Song if you really want chills and goose flesh. 😉 Also, try her song Through the Eyes of a Child, live at Nidarosdomen. That one is also just plain amazing. Her performance of It Happened Quiet, live at the Current was stunning as well. Finally, check out her TH-cam channel. Lately, she's been including live studio performances of her songs along side the official video releases. She's pretty much the only artist who's live performances I prefer to the clean studio tracks. Enjoy the rabbit hole. 😎
I’m so glad you have discovered Aurora! She is a musical genius from Norway who has been writing songs since she was six years old. She is hugely involved in the writing and production of all her songs. Her songs are her vision. She is so creative and is a beauty dancer as well. If you listen to enough of her songs, you will have your own favorite video or live performances of each because they can be so different and creative in different ways. She has had some long term vocal and musical collaborators that she has worked with through the years who have left to pursue their own careers and she is very supportive of their careers. She is very empathic and accepting of all people and cares tremendously for nature and the Earth. I have so many songs or performances to recommend but am loving the newer VEVO performances such as Exhale Inhale and The Woman in Me that show the beautiful 27 year old woman she has become. Enjoy!
Aurora is one of those artists who are electric Live performing. She doesnt need anything flashy, she just holds the energy of the crowd Another artist you should check out if you havent is Eivor - She has killer vocals
Glad your doing some reactions to Aurora!!! One song that I think you really need to check out is her cover of Ariana Grandes "God is a Woman". Man it blows the original out of the water. Keep those reactions coming man.
You should check out her version of God is a Woman. From my understanding, the artists that go on this show are given a song and they have an hour (maybe less) to re-work it into a cover. She slayed this one! th-cam.com/video/dFj9UNg4lNQ/w-d-xo.html
I really liked your review of this. You truly appreciate great music, singers, and great song writing. I have met some rock or metal musicians who can't appreciate artists like Aurora. I've been playing clarinet and sax in orchestral and jazz. And I have found among these so called "music nerds" that a hell of a lot of us love rock metal country, etc. Like you as a vocalist, we recognize and love music that is well written, performed by talented musicians, and evokes emotion. Simply put, a true musician like yourself will appreciate great music no matter what genre it is. There's nothing like playing in the middle of an orchestra surrounded by hundreds of talented playing epic music. So, yeah, my music library music from Band Maid, to Nirvana, to prog rock, and singer like Aurora has tons of different genres. Aurora is special. She is a wonderful singer and songwriter. I find it amazing that she wrote this song when she was a child
Another haunting one, live. 54321. The thing with Aurora is, it's not just that she's fully present in the moment & embodies the songs - she is the song. You can see it in her movements, she's emoting so much, it's like breathing for her. She's kinda magical ✨️ th-cam.com/video/vh0SWTVwXxw/w-d-xo.html
This song but live at the Nobel peace prize concert was a better performance of hers check it out, It's wild she wrote runaway when she was 11. Her conqueror performance at this same particular concert was 🔥
I first heard “I Went Too Far” MK remix and I loved it. One day I decided to check out more of her music and I watched this performance at Lolla and fell in love with her. She’s amazing. th-cam.com/video/eHwp0Cr-Rjs/w-d-xo.html
I love orignal arties she is the next one on my listed of being orignal. thanks for the reaction keep looking for more greated arties plz that are you know.
This is a big ask but i love your commentary but you should definitely listen to her new album "what happened to the heart" its aurora on a whole other level! Especially the music video for "Starvation" genuinely one of the best composed songs ive ever listened to its dark its tribal and its poetic all thw while being a upbeat techno combo if u react to anything from that album react to Starvation
So many songs of Aurora you should check out, I have seen that some people suggest Murder song, which is very good. But you also have the song called The Seed that is amazing ( th-cam.com/video/_Mc_OM5oNA8/w-d-xo.html) and through the eyes of a child (th-cam.com/video/ncG9zTzsisE/w-d-xo.html). So many more you should check out also.
If you really want to see her vocal control, I'd recommend "Forgotten Love - Live Hos Lindmo". She does a high energy choreographed dance routine while singing and doesn't miss a single note. It's also one of my personal favorites from Aurora.
I saw another person reacting to this video from the Honda Stage, who said that during this concert she has a cold, and was struggling with a fever the whole time, she was 39.5 degrees when she finished. And she NEVER considered canceling the concert, simply because she LOVES her audience.
idk how she did it, i could barley see with a fever that high
The Honda stage version is a very special one. She performed with a terrible cold there. You can see it on her face and hear it in her voice, and yet she sounded beautiful.
She’s one of those singers where it genuinely feels like they give a piece of themselves every time they sing😭😭
So glad you did a live version!!! She’s mesmerizing right?!?! And her lives are pure vibe jams. Sigh. Yay!
What the hell ?
She's incredible live.

A MUST!!!! -- AURORA - MURDER SONG (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert
Aurora - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current)
LUCKY - Live at Nidarosdomen Cathedral) ... Thanks again JR!!
Murder at the Nobel Peace is Powerful!
Yes yes yes
Definitely must do that exact performance of Murder Song. That is such an astonishingly intense performance... even for her.
Yyyeeesss!!!
Please check her performance of Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1) at the Nobel Peace Prize, she was 19(?) at that time and she crushed it. Just her and a guitarist.
More suggestions:
- her full performance on KEXP 2018 because you get to see a bit of her amazing personality
-Through The Eyes Of A Child live at Nidarosdomen (I dare you to hold your tears)
- It Happened Quiet live at The Current
Second this 👍
As do I! 👌🤩
Those would be my exact recommendations wow :D
💯
Perfect recommendations!
She actually started tearing up and maintained her performance. How on earth, my voice would immediately break lol. She’s amazing.
As others have said, her "Murder Song (5, 4, 3, 2, 1)" from the Nobel Peace Prize Concert is an amazing performance.
Aurora brings a little magic to a magicless world ♥
Churchyard- i think you’ll love it
She is a true living angel…Someone so very precious…We are so fortunate to have her here with us now…one of the great artists of this time…
She’s an as authentic of an artist as you can hope to find. All of her lives are absolutely incredible.
Aurora - Exhale Inhale (Live) Vevo Studio Performance, so beautiful!!!!!
Definitely MURDER SONG (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert
Watch her do The Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1 live from 2015
The quiet part of the song makes me always cry, it is so beautiful and the emotional overload she expresses how she is missing home is amazing.
Through the Eyes of a Child (live at Nidarosdomen) is absolutely mesmerizing
PLEASE React to “Murder Song (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) by her. She has a live version from the 2015 Nobel peace show. It’s very deep and dark, my favorite song of hers!
Oddly, Aurora is liked by a lot of metal enthusiasts. I think her raw authenticity appeals to people who enjoy other genres.
I got Really introduced to her with her live performance of a David Bowie song on The Howard Stern Show, amazing.
You have to do her song Through The Eyes Of A Child live at Nidarosdomen.
I Went Too Far (from this same concert) is another great live performance.
Under The Water and Black Water Lilies from the same concert is one of my favorites ❤
So underrated too
👍😍😍😍
She is actually very emotional in this performance, my guess it’s because she’s so far away from home and miss her family ❤️
What a magical & powerful song 🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦
I just rewatched ur reactions from Aurora and i highly recommend watching the Live in nidarosdomen of her song: through the eyes of a child. If u havent already, its so stunning 😫😍❤️
Not her most popular nor best version of this song, but I do love it very much. In fact, I love this entire concert. The Nobel Peace Prize concert version of this song is insane, and I'm sure her most popular live performance, period. She's like a magical woodland creature, part fey.
I saw her live at the openair in St. Gallen. She was absolutely amazing🥰😍.
I HAVE BEEN WATCHING U FALL IN LOVE WITH AURORA!💜🦢⚘ U WOULD B AMAZING TOGETHER!
I think my favorite Runaway performance is the Nobel Prize one, it's absolutely mesmerizing
AURORA - RUNAWAY - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert
Aurora ist einzigartig. Gruß und Liebe aus Schleswig-Holstein.
Her voice makes me cry. She’s magical.
this artist is a diamond, little norvegian fairy.... watch "Lucky" in the concert in NIDAROSDONEN all the concert is marvelous and if you want to hear a clear voice and breath control watch "it happened quiet" in The Current (studio)

You should react to her life performance of "Under the water"!!!
Seeing her live was one of the absolute best live shows I have ever been too. She is absolutely incredible in everything she does.

Man, murder song live is a MUST
She's crazy, no, seriously. It's great.
Aurora is a musical genius! Try out any Vevo live studio performance to have her eyes piercing through your soul. ;)
This live performance is just unreal, the emotions you can see and feel... so, so good
You really need to see Murder Song live at the Nobel Concert
She does covers that are insane. David Bowie Life on Mars (NRK) and Imagine Dragons Believer (also NRK) seriously anytime she does one they are something entirely "other" after she is is done with them
I got chills too
Always best live as every performance is different.
Soft Universe is a great song of hers live, some insane note control especially with her high notes coming out so clean
As far as I know this was the first song she wrote herself. At age 11 if I remember correctly. :D She's amazing.
Still, ... waiting for someone to do the live version of Warrior from the Haik Documentary "right."

Great reaction, again! I'd love to see you react to "Aurora - It Happened Quiet Live at the Current. It's a masterpiece.

- Soft Universe at Paris th-cam.com/video/8zJPRfeqNIU/w-d-xo.html (it’s an audience recording so not best quality but you can see how well she commands a stage)
When cranberries Delores and Bjork had a kid, she would sound like this
Her song with Pomme, Everything Matters is really good too.
Her cover/interpretation of God is a Woman was very impressive, you should listen to this one
she's the real thing!
I never noticed her breaths, great catch! It actually enhances the song IMO.
Also, try her song Through the Eyes of a Child, live at Nidarosdomen.
Sounds ethereal live right! I love this song.
She doesnt need anything flashy, she just holds the energy of the crowd
Another artist you should check out if you havent is Eivor - She has killer vocals
Glasonbury 2019 full set!

You must watch her concert in nidarosdomen
Such amazing vocals amazing song
This song but live at the Nobel peace prize concert was a better performance of hers check it out, It's wild she wrote runaway when she was 11. Her conqueror performance at this same particular concert was 🔥
Pls do „under the water“ live Version ❤❤❤
I first heard “I Went Too Far” MK remix and I loved it. One day I decided to check out more of her music and I watched this performance at Lolla and fell in love with her. She’s amazing.

It Happened Quiet, live at the Current.
GIIIIIIIRL!!!😢😢😍😍😍
oh and she has another song too that is called the seed based on earth day you should make an reaction vido about that too it'll be awsome.😇😇
You should react to her live performance with wardruna - helvegen
The FF music made me tip to the sub button ❤
React to her live performance I went too far live at Honda stage too
So many songs of Aurora you should check out, I have seen that some people suggest Murder song, which is very good. But you also have the song called The Seed that is amazing ( th-cam.com/video/_Mc_OM5oNA8/w-d-xo.html) and through the eyes of a child (th-cam.com/video/ncG9zTzsisE/w-d-xo.html). So many more you should check out also.
i think he was sick under this concert
If you really want to see her vocal control, I'd recommend "Forgotten Love - Live Hos Lindmo". She does a high energy choreographed dance routine while singing and doesn't miss a single note. It's also one of my personal favorites from Aurora.
