      Both cause the flux to flow between with no slowing iron in between !

      A better and stronger effect of the magnet is when there is only one stator and a double rotor with magnets

    • @Kerivity
      @Kerivity 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah but that's only because he didn't use a halbach array

    • @unknown-unknown69
      @unknown-unknown69 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Kerivity he kind of used the halbach array since he used the small magnets to form a symetric shape as coils
      In axial flux they don't use 2 stators because the other side has a weak magnetic side that's why
      I mean you can have 2 stators in axial flux motors its just about cost

      No shit. I've argued with other channels about the advantages, but there's no accounting for educated idiocy. Would've been nice to the results of a proper contra-rotation set up though.

    the first designs of a radial brusless EC Motor from Laboratoire Laplace gave me a idea to design a Counter rotating motor.
    a 3Phase EC gives the Flux to turn Clockvise also counter Clockvise with self amplification. If you design Cooling Fan, Windmills , Drones etc Counterrotating Motors are Usefull and increase effiency to 40%

    really impressive and effective design and assembly.
    Is there a way to make the world more greener and to share the CAD-Files for private use please?

    Wow, this is beautiful work.
    I like the use of inexpensive tooling (lathe) to achieve precision where necessary, while using other inexpensive tooling like 3d printing for the rest of the geometry to create a fantastically performing item using very attainable tooling and methods.
    (Of course, there's alot of other expensive tooling there, but that isn't strictly necessary for somebody who is re-implementing a design, rather than developing it)
    Fantastic work

    Good job, but because of the height of the coreless coils, the air gap is large and the flux density is less than could be achieved with those magnets.
    The incorporation of flat flux return back iron plates would have increased the air gap flux density, and the power output further without introducing cogging torque.
    The increase of the airgap thickness with coreless designs is the principal disadvantage of axial flux coreless machines.

    Dominique. I made a similar BLDC Generator for a mini wind turbine. Could you tell me your conclusion about this exercise? Your generator generated 180w with load? You measured volts gnerated without load and it was 30 VDC with 2000 rpm drill , and after, when you connects load, you get 22V and 8 amps, but in the video, you manipulate de drill`s rpm to 2000 rpm again. How many ohms was there in your resistor?. I would be grateful with you if you could share some small details with us. Good, good job

    i really wonder why you always were holding the device by hand. didn't you plan for some stand or clamping? i mean a pair of matching brackets with say holes for 3 housing screws each (or one u-shaped bracket) would have done it - and then any standard woodworker clamps or a vice would hold it in place quite nicely.

  • @daveparf
    @daveparf 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Beautifully done 👍🏻 but next time use long rectangular magnets designed 2 magnets to each coil, if a north magnet is over the left side of the coil then a south magnet should be on the right side of the coil so that both magnets excite the electrons in the same direction in each coil, when you have a large magnet that covers the whole coil both sides of the coil is seeing the same magnetic pole from that magnet which causes resistance and heat inside the coil, your setup is for an iron core design so if you have 8 coils you should have 16 magnets.
