I belong to Maharashtra, being one of the top states in economic growth.
But Maharashtra lacks far behind Odisha in the field of sports.

May be ,but i feel quite jealous,when I see such modern and superior medical facilities in Maharashtra, especially mumbai,which odisha lacks,a man suffering from cancer have to go Mumbai for its treatment,there are no such medical facilities in odisha which can handle critical medical cases,many of my relatives who had cancer went to Mumbai for treatment,and they got cured and doing fine now,i wish if we had such medical facilities in odisha too
@@05udc08097 yes counter this issue a project is already initiated .. certainly there are few cancer hospital present still this project is going to be one of the huge in India...it is an partially public private investment.

What about Cricket?? Rourkela youth loves to play cricket and there are at least 20 proper cricket tournaments but I have never seen a single Hockey tournament in my life.
If it is such a masterpiece why Nat Geo has to put disclaimer in the beginning of the video.

@@economicinsight2862 Cricket is mostly popular in Asian countries and it's not a part of Olympic games, so India should focus more on hockey instead of cricket, so that it can bring back its lost glory of hockey.
This beautiful stadium is not only the pride of Rourkela and Odisha, its the pride of the whole of India. Many congratulations to the Chief Minister and people of 💗Odisha for this beautiful stadium....I want such more stadiums to be built in every state so that our country India can achieve the same glory in hockey which it had 70-75 years ago.

I used to live in Bhubaneswar in the early 2000'z , I recently visited the city back again last month after 15 years , and I was pleasantly surprised with how the city has turned out it's has a big city vibes without the crazy crowd .

This is an engineering marvel. And almost unthinkable, 15months to build such a massive structure and not leaving any stone unturned from design to execution.
I was there to see some of the matches at Rourkela during the Hockey World Cup in Jan 2023. I wish I can express my astonishment in words.
I’m myself a sports dad, my daughter represents Odisha. I cannot thank Naveen babu enough for encouraging sports such big way in the state. (Not only Hockey, many other sports as well).

Beautiful, mesmerizing stadium. Can't take eyes of it. World cup was beautifully organized. It will always be etched in our memories. Thanks to odisha govt specially our CM sir for such a facility. Pandian sir is a person with great vision. Dilip tirkey sir is the right person to lead Hockey ( gem of our sundergarh district).It also shows if there is a strong will everything is achievable. If govt wants it can change the whole country quickly. In 15 months a whole city has changed. Think what cud have been done in so many years after independance. Hopes the govt continues such good work and take the state to new heights.
