John Deere Gator Not Running Right? Check for Air Leaks!!

After nine months the 1999 John Deere Gator 4X2 is back running great again. It would idle well, but once you started driving it would die. The problem got worse and worse until you couldn't even drive it. I finally used carburetor cleaner to find the vacuum leak. Tightened the bolts about 20 times as the engine warmed up and it is running great. Lesson learned after replacing many parts. #carburetor problems, # gator 4x2

Back in 2016 I was a co-op student working in the greenhouse/agriculture field. That whole summer I got to drive a John Deere Gator from that era. Such a blast to drive, sometimes I wish we had roads just for those kind of vehicles to get around town.
