    Interesting thoughts on Babar. Some of the themes touched upon do ring true, but as someone who first watched it in 2019, there’s a lot more to it than what was touched on here, especially as the show goes on. Layered morals like “it’s not right to lie, but people sometimes do it to protect their friends/not hurt their feelings, but does that make it okay then?”, among others.
    And Babar was in fact brought back with a new series from 2010-15 for a slightly younger audience, so I believe an older property can be revived with various changes made, like with Looney Tunes for instance.
