I don't remember if I played the demo or not, but I pre-ordered the game and then I didn't play it for so many months after it released. Just a couple weeks ago I started officially playing the game. I'M ADDICTED TO IT. It's so fun to play the many characters, I love the story and cut scenes, the main map has so much to do while not feeling repetitive or boring. I even enjoy reading the lil descriptions for the quests and then completing them. It is a fun game and I love the combat. Also, it's really satisfying watching the map slowly become all blue. I will definitely 100% this game ! If you like fighting games then you'll enjoy this.

Its good they got a free demo...i played it & like the game by itself.. but i love it's original freeroam version before... This is basically just using all the characters u wanted to play. Upgrading the battle system.. But that's just that. Its all fighting doing the same thing.. clearing the swarm of enemies.. Stories are good but.. I prefer to watch that than play it.. personally it's play style is so repetitive & not made for me (Just my personal opinion✌️😅)For this im just gonna have to pass and watch playthroughs. Would be cool tho, if they were to combine both.. Imagine the playstyle free roam before and the battle sytem activates like this when fighting. But the rest is thr same.. being able to.do what u want, when u want upgrade weapon and armor.. being able to get and ride horses and more..

I don't even know why I'm watching this. I have 500 hours in BOTW, I love the Zelda series and hack-and-slash games with tons of enemies. It also just so happens to be currently downloading to my console.
It’s just my hope though.. If Nintendo gonna reveal more DLC contents, I hope more playable characters to be release and online battle with people (Only if the game is based on multi universe, people all over the world could be a different warriors from different hyrule I guess)

Heads up to anyone on the fence. This is NOT A PREQUEL as it was marketed. I'm going to day anything about the story, but if you wanted a prequel to BoTW you aren't getting it from AoC. This creates a second timeline and isn't part of the BoTW story
I liked the demo but damn Zelda got it bad, I hate her move set, it's literally the iPad moves, I prefer part 1s Zelda moveset.... but link is still fun
Her move set is literally being chaotic and it’s fun but sometimes her being still when doing certain attacks sucks because she can get hit easily but overall still fucks with her tho but ofc Link is gonna be fun it’s Link there is no way to mess his gameplay up 😂
When I first played as Zelda, I didn't like her moveset at all either, but now, her moveset is among my favorite so far; which, granted, isn't saying much, considering there's only three characters, with one weapon type each, but still. For Zelda, my favorite thing about her moveset is the way she uses the remote bomb rune. If you manually detonate the big bomb, it can easily wipe out a large group of enemies.

Literally follow the objectives and it plays like any other game honestly it’s very simple but I get how the massive amounts of enemy’s can throw new comers to the genre off just give the Demo try for the gameplay and first chapter of the story

I think it’s best to play BOTW first then the new game so you can understand mechanics better (the sheikah slate attacks and stuff). I know it’s a time bend but I’d still recommend it

I don’t see the point in this when you know everyone is gonna die and the ending and such the gameplay is good but the story I feel was the real selling point of BOTW
Not exactly the story in this game is not what you would expect if you want play the Demo or wait for the game to come out I’m not gonna spoil like sure it may be the same story but the events we see were fragments of Links lost memories of the whole story because the story of the calamity in botw ends where Link is injured and sent to the shrine of resurrection basically his last memory but that doesn’t mean it was necessarily the end of the calamity everything in botw memories were Links perspective and mere fragments of his memory returning where in this game you are in the actual time period of the calamity and see how everything unfolds and what cause the resurrection of Calamity Ganon and how everything basically went to shit and it will probably even go past the point of Links fatal injury and also this story could and probably will tie in with the sequel if you played the Demo or seen Gameplay then you will know Spoilers: There is a new Villian and there are two egg Guardians believed to be the same but is resulted in Spoilers: Time Travel and Malice from the future chased the Guardian into the past and is believed the Guardian is one of the causes behind it all and is in a Time Loop which is also creates a Time Paradox similar to The song of Storms situation like that of Ocarina of Time
I think it may be better to play AoC before BotW, as it is a prequel, at least, if you play it for the story. If not, then the order doesn't really matter. I know that after I complete AoC, I'm gonna replay BotW, so that it feels like I'm actually experiencing the whole story from start to finish, rather than starting halfway through, then going to the end, then going back to the start, and going to the halfway point.
I'd play botw first, so you're familiar with the characters and sheikah slate etc since I've noticed that not a lot of the backstories are not explained in aoc
There are SOOOO many things that SUCKS in this game! The reason I got this game was because people saying it was a prequel to Botw and it was adding “the story that Botw needed”. Botw is my favorite game of all time. I’ve had 1145h on Botw and I never really thought that it needed more story. Instead I’ve filled my album with pictures and recordings of me exploring in Botw. Even though I’ve never really liked strategy games or musu games, but I still have Age Of Calamity a try since it was in the same universe as Botw. First thing I do is put the difficulty on very hard. After that I kinda liked the game, but there was still something I disliked: 1. The controls has changed from Botw. For example when I’m doing a perfect dodge I press X instead of B. Just these small changes can really make you frustrated. 2. Only specific eatable items can heal you. I had 9 raw meats in my inventory so I press L and B but it didn’t heal. I got so confused that I tried to google it, but it took me ages of calamity to find a real answer. 3. You can’t change the difficulty. You can only change the difficulty in the main menu while you can only get to the main menu in the beginning of the game, before the cutscenes and everything. 4. This is the worst part of the whole game is: If you delete the software, which you can do if you select the game and press X or you could play another game and the software will be deleted automatically, the game will restart from the beginning and basically press New Game against your will. THE GAME IS FORCING ME TO NOT PLAY ANY OTHER GAMES BECAUSE THEN THEY WILL PRESS NEW GAME!!!!! I GUESS THEY KNEW THE GAME WAS SO BAD THEY’RE TRYING FORCE OTHER PEOPLE TO NOT EXPERIENCE BETTER GAMES BECAUSE EBERY GAME ON THE SWITCH IS BETTER THAN THIS GAME. I know this isn’t a Zelda game. The game was made by a company of fans. But Nintendo was still involved in the making of this game! They should’ve just taken fans that have over 1000h on Botw and turned them into the managers!!! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, ITS JUST A SCAM!!! Don’t forget to comment your opinions down below.

Would you recommend playing breath of the wild or hyrule warriors first?

I honestly don’t like this game. I played the demo just like the rest of you guys and I find myself wanted to play breath of the wild and Hyrule warriors definitive addition. I may pick this one up when it goes on sale. Heck I haven’t even finished the demo 😂
@@KiritoGamingTV That's an asinine statement. The demo is where you DO judge the gamea s it's your hard earned money and demos are to see how well it runs in addition! The only ones hyped about this game have parents paying for the game!

@@epicgamer8million592 I know it’s just a demo. But it’s enough of an impression that I can’t see myself getting this at full retail. I mean it’s cool and all but I just have too many games right now. I will say that I will purchase this later down the road. I just don’t have time or the energy right now with newer games. I’m still trying to catch up on the games I already own 😂

Honestly the story is fine it might get you exited at first but I guess it got boring since we had to teleport to places and just .. fight

Can someone tell me if I need to play Breath of the Wild before Hyrule Warriors to understand the story?
I think it’s best to play BOTW first then the new game so you can understand mechanics better (the sheikah slate attacks and stuff). I know it’s a time bend but I’d still recommend it

I don’t see the point in this when you know everyone is gonna die and the ending and such the gameplay is good but the story I feel was the real selling point of BOTW
Not exactly the story in this game is not what you would expect if you want play the Demo or wait for the game to come out I’m not gonna spoil like sure it may be the same story but the events we see were fragments of Links lost memories of the whole story because the story of the calamity in botw ends where Link is injured and sent to the shrine of resurrection basically his last memory but that doesn’t mean it was necessarily the end of the calamity everything in botw memories were Links perspective and mere fragments of his memory returning where in this game you are in the actual time period of the calamity and see how everything unfolds and what cause the resurrection of Calamity Ganon and how everything basically went to shit and it will probably even go past the point of Links fatal injury and also this story could and probably will tie in with the sequel if you played the Demo or seen Gameplay then you will know

Time Travel and Malice from the future chased the Guardian into the past and is believed the Guardian is one of the causes behind it all and is in a Time Loop which is also creates a Time Paradox similar to The song of Storms situation like that of Ocarina of Time
While I am playing the demo, I will likely get BoTW and Hyrule Warriors first (Not Age of Calamity) Maybe sometime next year
I think it may be better to play AoC before BotW, as it is a prequel, at least, if you play it for the story. If not, then the order doesn't really matter. I know that after I complete AoC, I'm gonna replay BotW, so that it feels like I'm actually experiencing the whole story from start to finish, rather than starting halfway through, then going to the end, then going back to the start, and going to the halfway point.

I'd play botw first, so you're familiar with the characters and sheikah slate etc since I've noticed that not a lot of the backstories are not explained in aoc

Demo was fun
There are SOOOO many things that SUCKS in this game! The reason I got this game was because people saying it was a prequel to Botw and it was adding “the story that Botw needed”. Botw is my favorite game of all time. I’ve had 1145h on Botw and I never really thought that it needed more story. Instead I’ve filled my album with pictures and recordings of me exploring in Botw. Even though I’ve never really liked strategy games or musu games, but I still have Age Of Calamity a try since it was in the same universe as Botw. First thing I do is put the difficulty on very hard. After that I kinda liked the game, but there was still something I disliked:
1. The controls has changed from Botw. For example when I’m doing a perfect dodge I press X instead of B. Just these small changes can really make you frustrated.
2. Only specific eatable items can heal you. I had 9 raw meats in my inventory so I press L and B but it didn’t heal. I got so confused that I tried to google it, but it took me ages of calamity to find a real answer.
3. You can’t change the difficulty. You can only change the difficulty in the main menu while you can only get to the main menu in the beginning of the game, before the cutscenes and everything.
4. This is the worst part of the whole game is: If you delete the software, which you can do if you select the game and press X or you could play another game and the software will be deleted automatically, the game will restart from the beginning and basically press New Game against your will. THE GAME IS FORCING ME TO NOT PLAY ANY OTHER GAMES BECAUSE THEN THEY WILL PRESS NEW GAME!!!!! I GUESS THEY KNEW THE GAME WAS SO BAD THEY’RE TRYING FORCE OTHER PEOPLE TO NOT EXPERIENCE BETTER GAMES BECAUSE EBERY GAME ON THE SWITCH IS BETTER THAN THIS GAME. I know this isn’t a Zelda game. The game was made by a company of fans. But Nintendo was still involved in the making of this game! They should’ve just taken fans that have over 1000h on Botw and turned them into the managers!!! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, ITS JUST A SCAM!!! Don’t forget to comment your opinions down below.
I love this game play exactly like n3 and stop acting like you were forced to keep playing. It's your problem that you want to take a separate game and compare it to another.

Will we be able to free roam? Because I just finished the first part, the battle thing and I can’t find a way to get out of the map. If there is free roam, is there horses? Because I liked exploring the map not just on foot. Please help 😂
