Kudos to all car reviewers who have shiny skin effect due to sweat and darker skin due to the blazing sun! I must consider wearing shorts as well 😅
i tried filming my 2014 Toyota Vios on a good location and luckily, i was wearing pang-bahay shorts because the seats are not so friendly with the sun 😄 especially the fact that my Vios doesn't even have a tint...

Our POLO is already 7 years old and still works as new.. at first we are hesitant to buy the Volkswagen POLO in fear that we could not get a parts asap when time that it will need for any replacement or for repair..but we gamble our decision just because we are confident enough that this German car is tough.. and now we are very happy that we have just only replace minor parts on it and readily available in our nearby auto shop parts..

Caco great review bas usual, been one of your fans from India. We will be getting this as the Taigun, difference is we will get the 1.5 TSI turbo that will produce 150bhp, it will have all digital cockpit and ventilated seats for the Indian climate. Great review. 🙏
This car got the hype on. That price is crazy. Just a bit disappointed they didn't bring all the toys that's available on other markets.
Yes Caco, this will be our next daily driver inside the Metro :) As a matter of fact, my wife and I are already pretty sold out about this being our next car that we dropped by Volkswagen BGC last weekend, too bad it's already closed. She still had her milktea so it's all good. Would be a total upgrade from our Honda Mobilio.
By the way, the only disappointment I had is that our variant here in PH did not brought in the adjustable boot floor seen in global variants. That would've given us a flat load base, which would've been nice.

Hope VW Philippines will offer in the future the T Cross with turbocharged engine. This is esp suitable to highway driving (outside major cities).
The T Cross has very commendable safety ratings from different NCAPs (Europe, Australia, Latin America) 😊👍👍👍👏👏👏

The emergency brake assist is mentioned in different reviews, but this safety feature is not in VW brochure. Is it really available/activated?

Fuel consumption is same as my Suzuki Vitara. VW is a good car for Manila, but here in the province there are no service centers.

This is great. You sacrifice a bit of performance for fuel efficiency at a reasonable price. Not sure about the cost of ownership of VVs though.

Tbh I love light colored interior but the panoramic view is blinding, the light bounces around the interior. I’m sure worse in the Phils. Didn’t realize my Audi chamois-colored interior bugged me until I got my ID4 with dark interior. I personally wanted a brown leather interior but the ID4 did not come in the full brown. Just black with brown trim. Yes, the dark interior and full panoramic shade, dark in color is very cool to the eyes.
Please do a review of Hyundai Venue. I think it's the near competition for this car! :)

oh man, The Philippines gets the 1.5L and Australia is limited to the 1.0L. And your version has a much better looking interior. So disappointed with VW Australia. Great review.
Is T-Cross the Taos in North America?
OK specs except for the weak engine, so Coolray is still the segment leader.
The only question remaining now is longevity. Hope all modern cars have the longevity of Toyotas and Hondas.
This will last longer than coolray 3 cylinder turbocharged. Naturally aspirated engines are more reliable and cost less when it comes to repairs compared to a DCT in coolray. Ugggh im stuck choosing between the 2. Plus, tcross has air vents. I like how tcross has analogs on its dash. I like when things are simpler.
Does it have eco mode and sport modes options?
Just normal and sports modes

I hope VW,will bring Atlas in our market.
Why is this so cheap. Atlas is twice the price of this. I can only guess that the trim and finishes are not as great as they look, inexpensive as VW would have to cut cost somewhere. Might even feel like a toy. And a we’re a VW and Audi family. The T-cross is just over $20k, unheard of here in the states unless you want the Chevy or Ford compact cars, made pang-masa. The Atlas is almost $40k starting and can go way north of this price.
