You city boys are so cute. You go through terrible, rotten abandoned buildings inhabited by drug dealers and don't even bat an eye. But you"re scared to death of a rural area where there is no one to hurt you. Just kidding. I should warn you that it was too quiet, no birds or animal noises. That's not good in the country. It means the wildlife is aware of something bad and is hiding from it. Thanks for the great videos

It doesn't seem to bother the local bugs, bird and wildlife but......maybe they were quiet because Dan and Will were there. ok....This may be an odd, idk, compliment, but you have made myself and my husband closer...IKR? But it is true. We are very busy people; I am, well I was, a full time student. I'm between semesters at the moment, he works (blue collar) full time, we have a 6yo daughter, and I take care of my mother who lives with us because she is mentally disabled and cannot live on her own; needless to say, we do not get a lot of time. I had come across your videos a few weeks ago, and we love your them. Whenever you upload a new one, we carve out just a small amount of time for ourselves to watch. We have tried things like "movie nights" before, but we are always interpreted by someone. I don't think that I have watched a movie, in its entirety, in about 6 years. What makes this different is, obviously, the length which makes it easier for us to watch. Plus, your videos are so much more suspenseful than movies. We are always trying to watch and listen for sounds, shadows, movements, or, literally, read the writings on the walls. I'm always on the edge of my seat waiting to see whats around the next corner or what we will see when the camera pans back up. We get really into it even to the point that we get scared for you. It is just a lot of fun for us. We have always wanted to do exactly what you're doing. We have been together since I was 16, and I am now, well, not 16 anymore lol. We've been together for 13 years, so I guess you can do the math. Anyhow, we have always dreamed of doing this and have even tried saving up several different times. That whole area along the Ohio river is creepy as hell not just Point Pleasant. It just seems off... i dunno how to explain it maybe it's all the industrial plants and the nuclear power facility. Industrialized stuff always freaks me out.

They loom over everything with an apocalyptic glow, belching toxins & altering the mood of an environment just by their sheer presence, turning even the most pastoral of landscapes into a horrorshow panorama. That said, they're prime eye-candy for videographers, and Dan & Co. use them to their full advantage. I esp. like the eerie ascending stairwell bit, where the upstairs window pictureframes the plant beyond; a brief but meaningful moment. Well done, guys!
Maelstrom Of Horror I know what you're talking about I live in Huntington West Virginia. there's a lot of Supernatural stuff here not just heroin addicts lol. we have multiple haunted places in my hometown. some of the most famous are the keith-albee theatre the Old Frederick Hotel and old main the oldest part of Marshall University. there's also some pretty creepy stuff in the outskirts of Huntington an area called guyandot. if you want to see some really creepy visit Ohio University in Athens Ohio.
I can possibly say it is one of the best videos ever , I love the atmosphere of the surrounding area it reminds me about Epping forest in England and I have lived there for a while , I wish you all guys a happy new year and wish you had a great Christmas and best wishes with health and happiness :)

I visit Point Pleasant a few times each year. I am a little hooked on Mothman. I do not know how much I believe it all, but being from West Virginia, I enjoy the notoriety. I always visit the Harris Steak House when I go there and buy a Tshirt or some other Mothman souvenir for my collection. I have only driven past the TNT plant, during daylight.

Hey Dan Bell. Hope you guys are doing well. Love the videos. The noise you guys were hearing was more likely to be from the plant. Sometimes there boilers are letting off steam and being across the water sound travels and you know how it can get distorted and sound like something else like a vehicle. Be safe and God Bless.
I live in mason county right by tnt where the moth man has been spotted, And my stepdad is a deputy and he's gotten many reports of people seeing the mothman.
The Mothman was indeed a real creature at some point. He was a cross breeding experiment done by the government out in TNT. Point Pleasant has all kinds of hidden evils.
Ok I dont know if anyone else noticed but at the 7:33 mark when you pan the camera over the smoke it looks like a great big huge shadow of a figure! Wow definately creepy!! Great job guys!

Dan, having been up close to the nuclear plant out on the Kent coast in England, you can hear them humming and purring from several miles away. That might well be noises from the complex carrying on the wind... maybe :)
I use to go to this area many times when a good friend and myself would go Geocaching and seeing Bones (Probably Deer) was not at all an uncommon thing.Going into the TNT storage bunkers are really cool, and listening how noises reverberate is amazing.
I've got a rather odd irrational fear - so the scariest part of the whole video was standing in the dark and listening to the car drive around with no lights on. I'd be afraid that someone would drive up and see my car all by itself and decide to come murder me, rather than be afraid of anything in or around the house, though of course there is always that. Hey Dan Bell. Hope you guys are doing well. Love the videos. The noise you guys were hearing was more likely to be from the plant. Sometimes there boilers are letting off steam and being across the water sound travels and you know how it can get distorted and sound like something else like a vehicle. Be safe and God Bless.

I live in mason county right by tnt where the moth man has been spotted, And my stepdad is a deputy and he's gotten many reports of people seeing the mothman.

The Mothman was indeed a real creature at some point. He was a cross breeding experiment done by the government out in TNT. Point Pleasant has all kinds of hidden evils.

Ok I dont know if anyone else noticed but at the 7:33 mark when you pan the camera over the smoke it looks like a great big huge shadow of a figure! Wow definately creepy!! Great job guys!

Dan, having been up close to the nuclear plant out on the Kent coast in England, you can hear them humming and purring from several miles away. That might well be noises from the complex carrying on the wind... maybe :)

I use to go to this area many times when a good friend and myself would go Geocaching and seeing Bones (Probably Deer) was not at all an uncommon thing.Going into the TNT storage bunkers are really cool, and listening how noises reverberate is amazing.

I've got a rather odd irrational fear - so the scariest part of the whole video was standing in the dark and listening to the car drive around with no lights on.
I'd be afraid that someone would drive up and see my car all by itself and decide to come murder me, rather than be afraid of anything in or around the house, though of course there is always that.

I lived in Point Pleasant back in the late 90s. Spent many late nights exploring the TNT area. Good times. Unfortunately never got to see the Mothman.
