Those Are Beautiful! 😍Side note, every brass is Copper based, but mostly at lower percentages ~70%. Yanagisawa also uses a a high copper brass and calls it bronze.
@@keithcampbell6806 No. You are not accurate. I know what is Bronze and what is Brass. But Yanagisawa Calls their Hight Copper content Brass - Bronze. Ask Yanagisawa What Is their 'Bronze" made from.
Would be interested to know how the adjustment holds up over time. I have one of the very first 66RX horns and the right hand goes out of adjustment very fast.
That sooo good when in terms of design but.... is it lightweight compared to yamahas???? i love p.mauriat on how it soundss. 185 custom class user here!

You are not accurate. Go read about metal alloys and you would learn the difference between brass and bronze.

I had seen these on the P. Mauriat website. Thank you, Jim, for this video that shared your thoughts... and hearing the Venus played!
"Well, i'm your Venus,
I'm your fire,
At your desire.....🎷👍🔥
I LOVE Jim’s take on this “a REAL assault on the eyes!” LOL
Di a review of the CANNONBALL T5-25 ANNIVERSARY MODEL - TENOR SAXOPHONE please!!!
Phew, after hearing the tenor I'm glad that last week I bought a Signature Custom RAW.
When you really miss that Vito from childhood
Beautiful horn, beautiful tone. What mouthpiece are you using here? Thanks!
On the alto it's a Meyer 6M. On tenor it's something quite different - a Retro Revival NY 8
Cool. Just need to move to somewhere I can play my horn again… only been a few years

Reminds me of the Buffet Prestige… beautiful horn…

With the body being mostly copper, my guess is that the copper would make it a bit heavier than normal brass.
i play the good old 55swing jx tenor also copper neck body and s brass bell
Smooth jazz horns , very bright
I like the sound👌
Hi Sir I am from India and want to buy alto saxophone. Can you please guide me how to buy and what will be the cost.
What brand neck strap is that?
by any chane can you do review with the cannonball alto sax falcon
We'll look at doing something with Cannonball in the near future - good shout!
Looks like a director.
If the keys were a different color I would love it, looks like a beginner model 😂
Looking past that it looks nice
Looks like a student horn from the 90's.
I wouldn’t buy bc of the nickel keys which hides the bronze and looks like a beginner Yamaha or Jupiter horn
That was my initial impression…Student horns with nickel keys, even if they are silver plated.
Is that a professional alto/tenor saxophone?
Yes!
@@saxworldwide how much for the new p. Mauriat venus sir?
Won't the silver tarnish quickly?
Just the same as with any silver plated sax - but this can be controlled with polishing
Looks like you’re renting a student model Yamaha yas26. Yikes.
It’s not how she looks; can she play the field🤔🎶🎵🎷
Silver plate always looks terrible in a fairly short time...unless you spend more time cleaning your sax than playing it.
its lacquered probably
@@coin777 The video expressly said plate.
@@user-tb9lx1oz9n you Can lacquer the silver plate
@@user-tb9lx1oz9n it Can be laquered still
I would never buy it. Honestly
