Pilgrimage for Peace: Walking with St. Rita

On April 1, 2023, we began Holy Week with a walking pilgrimage through the streets of Philadelphia to pray for an end to violence in our world. We reflected on Christ's call to be peacemakers and prayed for the intercession of St. Rita, a peacemaker in her own life. The walk started at the National Shrine of St. Rita of Cascia in South Philadelphia to the Healing Garden of St. Augustine Parish in Old City, Philadelphia.
