AASHTO is actually the body that sets the standards for transportation infrastructure, such as bridge strength, cement specs, etc...I heard a lot about it in the civil engineering class I took. I'm not sure if you figured out what dependency was missing on that dash 9, but it is included with only one of the dash 9s. I just downloaded all of them and when I was done, they all had all of the dependencies. Thanks for another great video! I can't wait for you to release this route!
Nice work on the cement plant :) It could go with some mounds of sand and rock.. That is mixed to make the concrete.. Also some excavators and maybe some workmen :) And the shell plant is great but it might be better if it was a little further back from the main line to make the sidings a little longer.. But it looks great as it is :)
Outstanding job man, in spite of all the stress you've been through. Good luck on the move, my Scotties said they'd come help if they could pick up stuff with their puppy feets.
Best super-detailing I have seen! Thanks. I like to operate as well as build - would appreciate some tutorials on signalling, portal management, dispatching (AI trains I guess), I'm currently working on Southern Pacific (Now UP) Route around Sacramento and west, perhaps as far as Oakland some day. When I get good enough to tackle the mountains, will head east toward Reno, who knows? Your videos have helped me a lot, thanks, John
+John Sawyer Glad to hear my videos have been inspirational for you! I have plans for some of the tutorials you mentioned I just need to find the time to do them all :-) I think once Needles is done I'll focus on some tutorials for a bit. Thanks for the suggestions! :-D
I love how well the oil refinery fits the HO theme. Its "flatness" really makes it feel like it was created by a model railroader to fit the space in the corner. Also does anyone have word on when they are going to allow you to merge the content libraries of T:ANE and TMR? Is that happening after SP2?
This is fantastic. I have a large O Scale layout but have other railroad interests that I don't get in my actual layout. Perhaps I should build my "dream" layout using Trainz. Do I just need the Trainz Model Railroad software? Or do I need other software or special additional software from Trainz? Thanks and great work.
Hi Jay. Glad to hear you're enjoying my videos! Trainz is a great option to build a dream layout for those of us with space issues. Depending on the computer you have you may be able to run Trainz A New Era or Trainz Model Railroad Edition as you've seen in this video. Both simulators require fairly decent PC's to run so make sure to double check your specs before investing in one. All you would need though is one of those versions of Trainz and you're ready to build. There's a link to the Trainz store at the bottom of this video you can use to pick up a copy. Happy Trainz-ing! :-D
Hey Approach, if you go into the config for the SD70/75 textures, change the .tga files to .texture and you will get a lot more better looking textures on the SD70
I just dloaded that sd75i, great looking model but, 108k polys with no LOD scaling renders it pretty useless. I wish content creators would start taking notice to the usefulness of the LOD scale, it really is in their interest.

Awesome. I'll have to check that out
Hey so when you finish this and maybe decide to do the philly sub I can give you lots of information as it's the closest CSX railroad to me
Rockin :-D
Where did you download the container cars
Great work! Also how do you get those WellCars on the UP c40 it seems to always say missing dependencies and can't find kuids
Enzo Williams all you need are the container packs
Yeah, you'll need the container packs from JR. You can also use trainzkuidindex.com to locate missing KUIDs
BNSF8794 me too.I was going home and I saw a CSX and the engineer blew the horn at us
:-D
Where did you get the AAHTO (whatever) roads from?
They are all on the DLS. I looked at them the other day. The only drawback is there are no intersections. They do look awesome though.
For example I want a steel mill and no room for it. Also would like an EL.
i love trainz and jr .com content and your videos are vary detaild can you consider doing a cn cp via rail project for trainz 12 and tane
you should make sum oil wells
where did you get the Santa Fe Trains at 11:19
SLS Trains
AP if you put a truck over the wihte lines it would look like people are taking up 2 parking spots
