Nicely done, however the tires should have been wider like 255. Also the trunk handle and hinge cover should have remained in black. Get some chrome window vent for behind the back windows.

Sweet looking. Are these Grand Vitara popular where you live? My father gave me his that he purchased new in 2002. I got it from him in 2021 with only 18,000. I’ve put 30,000 miles on it so far. Use it only for highway trips . Have 48,500. Miles on it now.

That is a lot of money and work to go into a 130 hp 4 banger. The v6 165 hp motor model is a much more fun car. That extra 35 hp makes a huge difference.
However, more wear and tear problems with the v6 than the straight 4. Cam chains in particular IMO
The v6 cam tensioner gets stuck if it does not get regular oil changes but otherwise the v6 should be good for well over 200k. I have the 2001 Kia Sportage I got for roaming around the mountain logging roads and desert roads and it doesn't have the power I like, so I got a 2003 Grand Vitara with the v6. Not only is it a nicer car, but being lighter it feels like an extra 50hp.
