HENDON 0-1 CANVEY ISLAND - Highlights 14 December 2024

Highlights from our loss v Canvey Island last week. A solitary goal won it for the visitors, but it could have been different with two disallowed goals and a Busari shot that cannoned off the crossbar.

The positives from Hendon, were lots of effort from a team with more better players, but Canvey restricted them the time and space to make the telling passes which created genuine goal scoring opportunities.
The two disallowed goals were well thought out crosses, so Hendon can rely on patience in future.
The keeper played exceptional, plus Canvey's shooting was under par, although their goal was top class. Hendon did run out of gas in last third, but it was a game the players gave their all for the manager.
