Hey Robbie I get the redfin box through tackleclub and it came with some mini versions of those honeyball plastics. Look bloody awesome! Can't wait to try them
@@robbiefishing Bushfish did a vid a couple of weeks ago with one of the smaller sizes and the bass were scoffing them like kids in a lolly shop. I have been meaning to grab some for late season yebblies and big reddies through winter. I reckon carp will scoff them down too.
Hard work did pay off with a couple nice ones. That Honeyball is cool looking, was really hoping you got something with that one. Nice job as always and thanks for a few minutes of entertainment!
Thanks so much Larry. I had 1 fish hit the honeyball but it didn't hook up. Maybe if I had of left the treble hooks on it the outcome might have been a bit different.
You certainly persist with the fishing Robbie and scrape out a result. Hard using all different types of lures in a session, but it worked out well for you. Well done.
Great to watch as always thanks Mate. Got the Mother in law staying at the moment so its great to be able to watch this ..... Guess I could call he a "native species" haha Thanks again mate Cheers Rob
Spinner baits have turned a lot of doughnuts into successes for me. Well done, nice fish. I always replay a dropped fish for ages in my mind to try and thing how it might have been different. Have faith in glide baits, they work a treat. Yebblies love them fished slow with sharp jerks occasionally to either side. Got a nice rainbow last night on a bibless stick minnow. First time I have been trouting in a while. Good fun, but Gods it was cold! Saw a cool platypus as close as you would hope to get, a big buck Rusa deer, a heap of roos, wobblies and wombats trying to become womsplats. So, when you heading up this way for a weekend? 🤣
U can eat them if u prepare them properly cut into stripes of about two inches and soke them in milk and Viniger over night especially with the big ones and slow BBQ and spot on the smaller eel the better the taste cheers from grumpy
@@Smashy3 You can find out bag and size limits on the relevant state's websites. In Victoria it is VicFisheries. VFA website will tell you it is no size limit but 10 long or short finned eels limit. Always check the relevant state you are fishing in though. If you know how to find the information, you can check for yourself, and always carry a tape or brag mat. For example, eels in NSW have a length limit. Thanks for another entertaining video Robbie. I started going BFS reel fishing. I love it. I know you’re a regular baitcaster man but have you tried a BFS one?
@@robbiefishing Nice one, I highly recommend it. So much fun. If you’re interested I got myself an okuma ceymar ODT bfs reel from Amazon japan. Was $105aud delivered and took 4 days. Comes with deep and shallow spool
