    Great video. I've watched about 15 video reviews and this is the first one that goes into details like the buttons don't illuminate, the fairing doesn't do a good job in deflecting wind away from your leg. Looking forward to your future videos

    I ride a Triumph Rocket touring from 2008. Absolutely zero safety systems! You're all alone with 2.3 liters and six million Newton Meters 😂There are just light switches, horn and indicators on the left, kill switch and menu button on the right. All easy to use in the dark 😜The only thing that my bike and this bike have in common, apart from two wheels and a handlebar, is the shit sound. I am a BMW fan, at least for cars. The price for this fully equipped bike is ridiculous. All those control interfaces and not even illuminated. In all the time I've been riding, I've never heard or seen a biker with a radio on, so you have to ask the question, WHY? Nobody, at least here in Germany, would be seen dead playing music at a motorbike meet. In summary, so many settings, so many things to distract a rider on two wheels, I'm not sure if that's all good. But hey, it's only my opinion

      Wie verhält es sich eigtl. allgemein mit dem Rücken beim Motorradfahren, schmerzt der irgendwann, da man sich ja nicht anlehnen kann ?

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +AireDeZapatos es kommt ganz drauf an, ob du Rückenprobleme hast oder nicht. Ich hatte 2x was mit dem Rücken und ich merke es schon beim ein oder anderen Bike.
      Bikes wie die K1600B oder die R1200 GS sind ideal für lange Fahrten. Meine MSX hingegen hat ne harte Sitzbank und da kann ich nicht wirklich lange mit fahren, ohne dass ich mal ne Pause mache.

    kinda wondering, it is going to be really expensive for the maintains in the long term??

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I pretty much bet it is going to be expensive. First of all its a BMW an second it’s at the top end of the price range.

    Hey, something is strange here...Bars are different. Should black with a cross bar.

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s how the bike is being sold in Switzerland.

  • @docsopwith2536
    @docsopwith2536 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Why did the Swiss (euro) get the nice looking handle bars and the UK and the US didn't?

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Doc Sopwith not sure, maybe because of different specs for different markets regarding safety standards?

    • @jamesdefrange
      @jamesdefrange 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I only noticed because of your comment! Those handle bars are way nicer! I noticed here in the states there is an option for forged bars... I wonder if that’s what these are???

    Speed limited to 105 BMW must have lost their minds once the words out sales will drop. I was not happy after dropping 26K on a bike limited to 105 with 160 HP and no one has a flash for it. My friends leave me behind they call it the super dud. I have to agree thinking about a class action law suit found a couple more owners not happy and BMW advertising 160hp no mention of restrictions so far BMW dealer not willing to remove it.

    • @zunaidkajee4540
      @zunaidkajee4540 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mr Jones I own one and my bike cuts off at 250kph. Is that speed limiter you mentioned not for the grand America?
      Anyway I won't be riding at 250kph anyway. I feel a comfortable cruising speed on this particular bike is 200kph.

    • @AutoReviewCom
      @AutoReviewCom  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Here it is limited to less than 250km/h, maybe different markets have different Speedlimits set?!? Either way, I don‘t see it being super comfortable to ride above 200km/h as there are to many stupid people on the roads that cut in front of you, just for the sake of it.

    • @stygar100

    • @AutoReviewCom

      +Doc Sopwith that’s backfiring, very nice but not too loud or annoying.

    Damn....what a beauty background. Is this on planet earth??? I love the handlebar. Why the US gets crap looking ? This is a a fantastic machine. Just a shame it is soooo costly to run yearly. I can not take that chance. For the amount of time riding in the Northeast, not worth it !!!!

    They left out the biggest issue. Read the blogs from BMW OWNERS! The reverse locks. The transmission locks. The bike will not move. This has been an ongoing issue sense release of bike!
    The BM’er guys tell you not to use the reverse? What? I’m sitting at a hotel, my friends all left today.
    I will loose 1000’s in reservation. I bought equipment exclusively for trip. The bike has 215 miles on it!
    So much for German Technology. They have known about issue sense they released bike! Check BMW BLOGS for reverse/Transmission lock up. You buy this bike at your own peril.

      Randy Farnsworth I’m going on 18,000 real soon , have used reverse many times ! No issues .
