    Another great video.
    I see the eagle has come come up in ‘leaps and bounds’ since my last hunting session.
    It has learnt to ‘wait on’ now as well….a new hunting strategy.
    Can’t wait to be out in the next few months.

      Much appreciated thanks. It's commonly known in the Eagle falconry world that to get an Eagle going 100% takes 5 years of serious blood, sweat and tears. (especially a Bonelli's...!) Yes roll on the season...! Thanks Nigel

      Yes totally agree. Glove flying has its place but waiting-on, and following-on for hours is a spectacle like no other...! Many thanks Nigel

      A lot of farmers ask that question. He's a bit too small for taking lambs.

    I am curious, how do you get the falcon to come back to you, do you have a certain whistle, or flute or call. How does that work.

      @@indyreno2933 Hello, could you explain this comment and elaborate what you are trying to say regarding the Bonelli’s Eagle?
      Thanks Nigel

    • @indyreno2933
      @indyreno2933 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @hawkinsfalconry, the bonelli's eagle is the sole species in the genus Pseudobuteo, which is one of the three monotypic genera belonging to the tribe Hieraaetini, with the other two extant species of the tribe being the booted eagle (Hieraaetus pennatus) and the cassin's eagle (Cassinaetus africanus), the latter being its closest living relative while the former is basal to both, Hieraaetini is the most basal of the four tribes of the subfamily Aquilinae (True Eagles), which is one of the three subfamilies of eagles (family Aquilidae) officially recognized.
