I think you'll find it was Nadine's envy that broke up the group. In their last song she refused to sing equally with the rest of the girls 😨. She basically stamped her feet and wouldn't sing a verse unless she was lead vocal..THAT'S what's childish and pitiful! She only sang backing vocal and could only watch whilst Nicola killed it. Her voice, confidence, emotion and distinctive style actually made everyone clap when she sang. Yep, little ginger keeps her head down Nicola. The other girls looked so proud of her because that never used to happen. She also couldn't dance or write material. Nadine was a bit of a spare part when they got back together, the other 3 ladies had matured too much to merit just bit part lyrics. Plus the fans didn't want to hear Nadine as lead anymore, it was time for "Something New" 😉. Refusing to sing in their 2nd comeback sing unless she was lead..That's so pathetic I can't believe it. When I see how Nicola owns the song, especially the video (her tearful eyes and pre raphelite beauty leaves you speechless 🌷 ) I do understand why she might have felt threatened. Plus Cheryl had blossomed even more and had plenty of success while Nadine had just failed or flopped somewhere and become irrelevant, but why did she bother getting back with them if she felt so insecure and out of place? Sarah had the same problem but she handled it with grace. Nadine was entitled, she expected success and adoration to just land in her lap. Cheryl having all the attention that she craved must have made her madly jealous. She moved to LA so she didn't have to see Cheryl become literally the "Nations Sweetheart "..no one is jealous of Nadine, the facts speak for themselves. Nadine's solo efforts flopped and she wasn't a nice person. I think she must feel very embarrassed now when she looks back. Hopefully they can all make up.
I'm a bit flummoxed as to why people think Nicola's voice didn't suit this. Basically they knew the original was in a low key and so gave the main parts to Cheryl, Kimberley, and Nadine . . . then to add depth and put their own twist on it they had Nicola and Sarah sing counterpoint (counterpoint is when you have a significantly higher or lower voice backing the main singer). Almost every Girls Aloud song features all five girls, so they could hardly break the pattern just because "the original song was lower". I thought it was a very clever way to work it.
Cheryl has always had me staring with her dancing. Her whole body is so sinuous, she's easily the best dancer. Possibly the hottest Nadine has ever looked too, BTW.
Cheryl is the greatest person ever i luv her new songi even made my friend like girls aloud my best friend daisy hates girls aloud but still shes great and of course Cheryl is great too
Kimberley makes me smile, i dont think a womaniser would last long with her! and i agree, her and Nic blend well, love them on Rolling Back The Rivers too, they should do more, and along with Cheryl, are the best dancers

They always do covers on tour. They also did Broken Strings on this tour. Then on the Tangled Up Tour they did With Every Heartbeat and Push It. Its one of the characteristics of a Girls Aloud tour.
