Hey guys! No idea what happened to the premier tonight 😢 It ended itself and then just released the video! Will miss you all tonight. Catch up with you live within the next week!!! 🥳 Hope you all enjoy the video 🙏🏼❤️
Looks like a place where the resident who lived there passed away with no relatives to claim it. Probably the subject of legal stuff, but it seems to be going on for some time, judging from the state of the place . A very enjoyable video.
What a sweet little bungalow. My God you guys have got to wear masks. With all that mold I’m surprised you’re not sick. That was really sad to think. All that was just going to come tumbling down within the next year. Somebody’s lifelong memories. It was a great little explore. Thank you so much. Sending love to you both.🤗💜🤟🏻🥳🇺🇸
What a crazy little house!! So many personal possessions left behind, it made me wonder about all the memories that would have been made here. I’m sure that the house could fall down at any minute taking everything with it! I’ve enjoyed this explore ! Thank you Sam and Jess xx
Happy New Year from Canada! Great video. The bottle “liqueur jaune du couvent” means yellow liqueur from the convent, probably made locally. The letter is from Nathalie and Laurent amd talks about a wedding reception on August 31st. They’re saying the honeymoon will have to be postponed as the groom is going back to school on September 2nd. They are also talking about some guests arriving for the wedding, and Ms. Villa who has recovered from her knee surgery. The small metal container (at the beginning) was embossed with the Moët et Chandon logo and was probably for tasting wine and champagne, not an ashtray… I think.
hi Sophie you bein Canadian makes sense on the French translation ,,,, great addition by you to a great insight to French way of life Thankyou Sophie from Edwin J,,,,,, Beverly Hills Ca
awww that's sad. I'm imagining the lady of the house collecting her recipes and cooking good food for her loved ones in her lovely big kitchen. Sam and Jess, great video thank you. Happy new year filled with happiness , good health and lots more adventures 💖💖
Such a shame and incomprehensible that the nice antic furniture wasn´t saved in time (brass fingerplates etc.). Nowadays they also can´t build such nice houses anymore. I enjoy your videos very much and I think that you create by far the best videos about abandoned places. Happy new year!
Great little house, a super cool find. Love the old 2CV in the barn, someone is certainly trying to save that from the elements. Thanks Sam and Jess for sharing.
Hello, what a wonderful little place, heartbreaking to see it rot like this. So happy you both were able to capture it before it falls down. Love seeing inside thank you both!
Jesse is still gorgeous and how you guys make these situations so awesome to watch, haven't tried Darks Arts since u guys left for whatever the reason, looking forward to your upcoming videos.
I think that's the worst decay I've seen in your vids. Soo sad as the bedroom was beautiful apart from all the soggy stuff and puddles. Thanx again guys for a great explore especially the car 😲
Loved that old car! The brick barn had Dutch doors fora few stalls. The house was left complete with everything the last folks needed. Decay is rampant. An interesting explore for sure. Small house was very nice long ago, I am sure. Thank you. Happy New Year! 🎉
THANK'S GUYS FOR THIS GREAT VIDEO, I LOVE THESE KINDS OF VID'S. THEY GIVE ME A SORT OF BITTER-SWEET FEELING! I LOVE SEEING ALL THE OLD STUFF AND EMAGINE THE FAMILY THAT LIVES HERE LAST. I LOVE SEEING PICTURES, 🙋♂️✌️
Happy New Year's! I had to laugh when you picked up the lion and unicorn crest button and said "I know I've seen this before" Isn't it the UK's Royal crest? Lol. Great video and love how you both check everything out!
Happy new Year to you both! 2023 a year of revelation!... humanity really has got things so wrong! so many great building's falling into ruin, when so many are homeless! or is it just me??... another great explore guys!..
Oh such a shame :( what a beautiful little home this would have been. I can imagine the owners having some chooks maybe a dog, and just living like a really simple life
Wow, what a place. It must have been really cute before all the damage, when it was liveable. So sad it in such ruin. Te worst thing now is all the beautiful furniture and books, to bad, looks like a lot of it could still be saved before its totally lost. Always wonder why they couldn't at least save furniture, dishes, books etc from so many of these places you go to or get pictures etc to family down the line. The bathroom, yuck. Basement real bad. Thank goodness you guys came out ok. Blessed Be
What a shame I bet it was looked after in its days ,shame its left to rot like that and there belongings and books left behind .I carnt understand why its not been passed down to family or authorities do something with it instead of leaving it like that .enjoyed it much love ❤ to you both xx
Hi Sam and jess thanks for sharing this is a great start for the New year, now sad to see that it's left to rot,and was someone's lovely home hope you both had a great Christmas and New year takecare 🙏❤️🇬🇧👏
Happy New Year to you both. Hope 2023 brings you many blessings 🙏💜. Love all your videos you’re so respectful and the camera work is beautiful. Thank you 😊
First, Happy New Year!🎉 Now what a sad little cottage. The folks must have originally tried to make it lovely, especially the bedroom. You know I love your explores:)) I do wish you wore masks in some places. I could be wrong (cancer fog brain) but the one as bad as this mold wise was the artist’s house, especially the black staircase. But still a great find guys! Looking forward to this year’s explores😊🇺🇸
What a shame to see that lovely furniture get wasted by the rain. And Mandarin is another word for orange.. your video was really relaxing and enjoyable. But, even i could smell it from here.. na just kidding.. i can only imagine. xx
As a french person it is suite fun to see you struggle with the french words. And the game we can see in the kitchen and dining room IS called "les dames" or " le jeu des dames"
Great exploration!!! Odd little place. Way cool the translations included. Awesome car in garage, great find!. Enjoyed the episode much! Take care. 👍😊❤️
Happy-New-Year,,,,,,,,, what a wonderful video filmed to perfection ,,,, so pleasing to watch each take slow so as the viewer can see and analyse all the small intricate pieces that made life in this quinte little French house enjoyable,,,, i enjoy all of your explores Jess has the most beautiful manicured hands,,,, she---- is -- beautiful ,,, Sam love those dreadlocks man your intro voice is magic,,, your should do professional voice over i could arrange a interview and demo tape Edwin Beverly Hills Ca,,,,,,,,USA
Happy New Year...the car is cool. I hope it goes fixed up, the body looks good for what you can see. The house won't last much longer though. Best wishes for 2023 to everyone! 🥂🥰
Hi Sam and Jess i love your video's 😉i wish you and your family and the followwers a Happy New Year and the best wishes for 2023 kiss and greetings from the Netherlands Chiel
Such a shame all those beautiful antiques will ruin. Beautiful house. I don't understand how these places stay abandoned till they fall in. Looks like someone would want to buy it lock, stock and barrel.
Bless him! But it was still good to watch and to see them in their natural habitat 😂 Happy new year to you all and many blessings for the year to come 🙏
Hi Sam and Jess love this one, but curious to know what happened to the family that lived there. Idea for future video updates on houses you've visited.😃 Happy New Year ❤️
Thank you so much Shelldust 🥰🙏🏼❤️ You didn’t miss much tonight, the premier cut out about a minute in for some reason! 😅 Will be live over the next few days though! 🥰
Cool little place you found. I always wonder why these places get left with no one to claim anything. By the way, more power to you if you go down the basement, you should at least wear respirators.
Well I think you literally took your lives in your hands here, it looked as though if the mould didn’t get you the building would collapse at any minute and get you instead, ket alone the basement,,, I don’t know how you went down there! However, in-spite of that you could still get an idea of what a sweet place this used to be. A timely, if somewhat wet find. ❤
Please if your going to pick thing up, please wear gloves. White mold can be as bad as black mold. And mask would be good to. We want you both to be around for a long time. Peace
MOET ET CHANDON make the famour Champagne and the silver ashtray would shine up lovely, in the house is around 2 grand just in French Renaisance style chairs alone, the car a 985 Citroen 2 CV is about seven to ten grand. About the worst loss will be the recipes, someone invested time into writing down their years of knowledge. If you know what things are their value and history sometimes watching these explores is heartbreaking.
The Moet et Chandon item is not an ashtray, but is a "tastevin" a shallow dish from which wine is sampled and the colour of the wine can be judged against the light reflected from the sliver base of the vessel. The piece on the side is actually a thumb grip.
To bad it's leaking like it is, kitchen looks good even if rain is coming in,, hate all the nice places falling in,and probably State owned, just waiting for someone to want it bad enough so they can charge them good money for the land by itself and too hard to turn down
Hey guys! No idea what happened to the premier tonight 😢 It ended itself and then just released the video! Will miss you all tonight. Catch up with you live within the next week!!! 🥳 Hope you all enjoy the video 🙏🏼❤️
That tv is from like the 1990s bruv 😌😌
That decay has really taken hold of that house. The shed/garage is in way better shape than the house. Glad you two got out unhurt.
Looks like a place where the resident who lived there passed away with no relatives to claim it. Probably the subject of legal stuff, but it seems to be going on for some time, judging from the state of the place . A very enjoyable video.

Agree. The silver “ashtray” is a sommelier’s tastevin, or wine-tasting cup. Very cool!
awww that's sad. I'm imagining the lady of the house collecting her recipes and cooking good food for her loved ones in her lovely big kitchen. Sam and Jess, great video thank you. Happy new year filled with happiness , good health and lots more adventures 💖💖

Sadly, over there antique furniture is a dime a dozen, Actually, I don't think they can even give it away.
