  • We take you along to the rugged Washington coastline, the lush Hoh Rainforest, and the impressive Olympic Mountains!
We start off the first day at Rialto Beach to find the impressive "Hole in the Wall" and discover some tide pools. On our way to the rainforest we pass through Forks, the inspiration and filming location for Twilight. We finish off the day with the Hall of Mosses and Spruce Nature trails in the Hoh Rainforest - some of the most lush vegetation we've ever seen, and the most massive trees!
On the second day we spend a misty sunrise on Hurricane Ridge, hike to Marymere Falls, take a dip in Crescent Lake, and finally see the Olympic Peaks after re-ascending Hurricane Ridge once it cleared up!
This was such a fun and surreal part of the country to visit, and Olympic National Park easily became one of our favorite parks in the process!

Love coming along with you two on your many adventures!! You visit the most unique and interesting places! Appreciate the fun facts and tips. The music is wonderful too! In awe of the uprooted tree with new growth. Isn't nature magnificent! ❤️

Thank you! It was all incredibly beautiful, and we’d go back in a heartbeat - probably for a few days longer! This is why we enjoy doing these videos - describing these places or showing pictures never can do them justice. We love being able to share, and bring you along, a little more holistically! So many more places to come!

That looks like a pretty cool weekend getaway! Can't believe the size of those trees and how quick the tides change when visiting area attractions like hole in the wall. Start early is dually noted!

One of our favorites, for sure! The trees were massive, but we didn’t get a chance to see the biggest one - it’s in the Quinault Rainforest, and stands at 174 feet tall and 19 1/2 feet in diameter! They were striking to see! The speed of the changing tide really caught us off guard. We expected more time to check out the tide pools and hangout at Hole in the Wall - I think we were there for 10 minutes max because it was getting dicey. We were shocked to see people attempting to get across after the tide covered the path!

One of my favorite parts is during the bloopers, when Matt is being filmed "👀....what?"

Hi Melissa and Matt. How many times did both of you say WOW? I can't imagine getting 12 Feet of rain or snow here in Alberta. Okay the Icefield Parkway probably does. Is this thing called "Twilight" a big deal? If possible can you the temperature in Imperial and Metric. Which has more rain Washington State or United Kingdom? Hopefully you got dry and warmed up. Have Fun, Stay Heathy, and on to the next Epic Adventure.

Hi Ed! We were amazed so many times on this trip! The Hoh Rainforest in particular was surreal - it really felt like something from Jurassic Park. The 12 feet of rain is hard to fathom, but it was heavy and constant the whole time we were on the Hoh Rainforest trails. The UK gets considerably less rain, but it varies depending on where you are. For example, London gets less than Seattle but parts of Scotland receive almost 10 feet. Twilight was a big deal about a decade ago, back when Melissa was fan-girling in high school haha! Totally fair callout on the metric - we will add both in going forward! Thanks for watching!

Hi guys, we are heading there in 10 days. What did you use for navigation? smart phone, google maps, or Iphone, we use waze also.

We used Google Maps while we were there - we pinned each location, and downloaded offline maps to ensure we could navigate if cell service dropped. We didn’t have any issues this way! Have an amazing time!
