- Coach Cronin spoke to the media after the Bruins secured a 63-61 victory against No. 9 Michigan State on Tuesday evening at Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom.
Izzo is a helluva coach. Any win against one of his teams is a great accomplishment. Nicely done by Mick and his kids.

Mick referencing the Michigan State First Four game as a stepping stone is so cool. To my mind, that was the game Jaquez became JAQUEZ. Never looked back on his way to becoming a UCLA all-timer.
Coach Cronin deserves a lot of credit for these victories over top 20 teams. The rotations seem timely. He knows this team now at this point. Great win coach. Nice defense guys.
Loving this mick interview, i love that he can be straight forward and honest with the interviewers throughout win and loss. I hope the players realize how good of a coach that they have.

Once again, Coach Cronin teaches us something about basketball - Cronin says he doesn't want to milk the clock down to the last second to take a final shot; The reason? Allow your team to get a chance for an offensive rebound if you miss the shot, and get a second opportunity to score. Personally, I've never heard any coach say that before. Words of basketball wisdom from Cronin.

The way Mick turns his teams around during the season is impressive. So many people will find his comments careless and needlessly blunt. But it seems that they light a fire under his teams, ultimately bringing about better results on the court when it really matters.

Congratulations to Coach Cronin and the team. I wish I could watch the Bruin games that are streamed on Peacock. I read in October that Peacock and Spectrum came to an agreement that would allow Spectrum customers to stream Peacock. However, Peacock has yet to be made available through Spectrum.
Once I read that Spectrum wasn't gonna carry the Big 10 network this year I canceled my membership. TH-cam TV and Peacock combined are a cheaper option anyway
@@tobiahsoto9464 Thanks for your input. Spectrum changed their minds and made the Big 10 network available, for the tier of service I have, after the Pac-12 channels stopped broadcasting. There are 2 Big 10 channels but, every time I checked, they were both showing the same program or event. However, some UCLA sporting events are only shown on the Big 10-plus streaming service, and my Spectrum subscription does not give me access to that service.

Great win 💪 as always the officiating was garbage and slanted against us it's really just standard issue for the Bruins this year, can't get a break from the officials
Here's a stat for you. Michigan 24 fouls, 15 of 21 FT, UCLA 18 fouls, 23-34 FT. Your game with MSU was even in FT and you had 2 more fouls. MSU plays very physical and the officials always let them.
@@Sal-h2lthat doesn’t tell the flow of the game and all the non-calls. That huge shove in the back of Mara on the offensive rebound attempt? Turned into a turnover and a foul on the other end. In the second half, in particular, the refs held the whistle on the UCLA end of the court.
Coach Cronin is focusing on teaching his players to do the little things to be a better team and the recent wins are the result. Everyone is contributing now to the team success.
Cronin should reach out to former UCLA coaches and players who played for coach Wooden on rebounding. Kareem was at the game and could definitely help Mara with his game.
Mr Cronin is doing a great job!!! I will say that I believe if Sky Clark was running the offense more late in the game then bruins win by 10-15, but I’m not on the sidelines so I don’t know the micro-adjustments that have to be kept by late in the game , I will say again that I am very impressed with how Coach Cronin has this team developing together at the right time of the season, big win big win 👏. 3 turnovers…. My lord…against IZZO!! Good job Mr Cronin 👍
