I am a musician and play tons of your songs. They all resonate so much with me. When I heard you were coming out with a new album I was over the moon. I couldn’t wait to learn the new stuff. Although, I will admit, it’s hitting me a lot harder than I thought it would. I always shared your music with my dad. He loved to hear all the new songs I would learn from artists he had never heard from before. He passed in September (a week before I saw you at the Sylvee) and now I won’t be able to share these new ones with him, but I’m still going to learn them all. I just wanted you to know what an important piece of my life you’ve been, especially over the last six months and how grateful I am for that.
