Charice - "Grown-Up Christmas List" at Rockefeller Center, New York Nov 30, 2010

- Charice, Mariah, Susan Boyle, Kylie and other singers line up at NBC's Christmas Special event on November 30 2010 at the Rockefeller Center in New York City, just as part of the ceremony to their 78th annual holiday extravaganza which features the lighting up of a Christmas tree measures 74' high, 40'in diameter & weighs 12 tons! In this occasion, Charice sings her new songs "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Grown-Up Christmas List" which are now available from Amazon & i-Tune.
NBC's official video is "Jingle Ball Rock" and of course it looks better than this unbroadcasted one. But here let's share our experience: Sorry, this is the only angle we can see our Charice and actually no more than a dozen of us can see it! Obstacles after obstacles, and we made it thru a window across the VIP bar for the guests LOL! That's not enough, but with 2 people standing on a 2 foot plastic chair as well just to shot this video. Believe it or not, the Chaster who brought the folding chair is named as Celine (haha!) At the end, you can see how big the crowd is: half a million people surrounding Rockefeller Center man!

Nick Jonas wrote a song for Charice--- the title is "One day". Bruno Mars produces her latest single "Before It Explodes... then she's gonna have a collaboration with the band "Westlife", the former american idol judge "Kara Dioguardi"... OMG... she's so blessed!!!!! i love her =D

What i know is that charice performance in her latest christmas events are superb, if bieber made it, then 1M percent charice will be the next SUPERSTAR.
I think even if you're not a fan of Charice you would still LOVE this rendition.

I listened to ALL uploads from this event, INCLUDING the Official NBC ones, **THIS ONE HAS THE ABSOLUTE SUPER AUDIO QUALITY** Now when I listen again to my own upload, I was just blown away by the LIVE performance of our CHARICE and flew back in time to Rockefeller Center again !!!

Lantao, you are indeed a seasoned videographer shooting this at long distance with minimal handshake. People that doesn't zoom their cameras at this distance doesn't understand that as you zoom without a tripod it is extremely difficult to stabilize a shot. Well, at least people are learning. Millions on NBC TV watched Charice's Jingle Bell Rock performance 11-30-10. She was preceeded by Mariah Carey who opened at 8 PM, and Boyz II Men. Charice was third was then followed by Susan Boyle singing Away In The Manger, Sheryl Crow's Blue Christmas, then Josh Groban. What great company to be surrounded by!

Looked it up on TH-cam and saw Kelly Clarkson's version, not knowing that this song has been around for 20 years (Natalie Cole 1990). Amazing that I keep learning things because of Charice.

My wife & I have did a detailed comparison of singers who sang "Grown Up Christmas List". We tried 2 b as objective as possible in our assessment. We both found that of them all who sang this song, Charice's rendition is numero Uno. It was unexpected but the next best rendition is that by Lea Salonga. Natalie Cole's version comes in 3rd. Amy Grant's rendition comes in at 4th. Also unexpected is Regine Velasquez' interpretation at 5th. Kelly Clarkson's rendition comes in at 6th. Thank you.
