Review: Broadway Limited Paragon4 Southern Pacific GS-4s

Hello everyone! This is my first review in a while let alone with the new camera. A buddy of mine and I snagged a BLI GS-4 for ourselves (thank you for letting me borrow 4444 Jake) to own and throw out a review on. These engines are phenomenal and are some of my personal favorites released by Broadway Limited Imports. More videos are on the way and in the works soon!

I have the postwar 4435 and the freedom train 4449, i love them! Planning to grab a modern 4449 too in the near future.

Very impressive, handsome and well detailed model of the SP GS4 class locomotives, I always liked the Southern Pacific rr GS class series that the SP operated during the steam era. If I decide to purchase any of these GS4 models for myself in the future, I will purchase a GS4 model painted in the postwar 1950s black/ silver paint scheme as I find that scheme very attractive as being a contrast to the daylight paint scheme.

Is there any way to prevent the main wheel's driving rod from distorting when the wheel moves?

As far as I know, the only way is to tighten the screws holding the rod in place to the drivers. If its more distorted than it should be, I would try to contact BLI directly.

I would still gut the decoder and put something better in it.
