Wow a whole 10 percent? How generous of the team that will be using it 90 percent of the time
They use it minimum 8-9 weeks out of the year. This argument is so played out. The city can do way more with the stadium than a team can.

The state gave money to Cleveland so I believe the state is expected to match that amount for Cincy. Property tax has doubled in the last three years in Hamilton county. For what? I don't know. The influx of immigrants certainly hasn't helped that. The city schools are now failing worse than ever because of this and students being behind because of covid. I'm sure the socialist democrats will just want to waste more money on that, Social Security hasn't kept up with inflation and my mother can no longer afford everything anymore. These raise in taxes comes directly out of my pocket. The Pat McAfee show can go straight to hell.

As someone from St. Louis I can’t help but laugh. Californians were so proud to get “their” Rams back and built them a nice new stadium. Now they are having the largest recorded exodus of any state in U.S. history and their actual biggest fans can’t afford to even go to the games 😂🤣
We were still happy they won the Super Bowl but I’m also happy you guys are homeless now and state is collapsing because of it!

A stadium paid by 90% taxpayers in Hamilton County so a fossil owner who was gifted daddy's millions can still enjoy the taste of a sliver spoon in his mouth. The Bengals were established in 1968 with no Superbowl wins. I hope it fails and they leave the state

For the longest time, that stadium felt like you were walking into a prison. Brick walls with no team colors should have been a no-brainer.
I hope they keep walking across the street. Its incredible for us fans! The players stop and will talk to fans and sign stuff. I got the opportunity to make a pair of custom shoes for even McPherson because pf that street!

Go bengals and by the way we turned it over too much to win the game, and it was pass interference on the bengals, the guy in on defense made a bad judgment on the ball, thats what's rookies will do, always a learning curve for them, and we are right where we wanna be evidently cause this has been our record for yrs after 2 wks , its annoying but our bengals like playing with their backs against the wall
What exactly is wrong with crossing the street and interacting with the fans on the way to the practice field? This is Ohio not LA or NYC where players seem to want to rise above the fans. It is our ethic. It our culture to be interpersonal and interact. Nobody is getting hit by cars or cement trucks. They are millionaires but they aren't too good to be in the presence of "the great unwashed masses" who BTW supply all of their money a few hard earned dollars at a time.

Bengals fan, love the show, its cool they are planning some upgrades, not sure what the point is tho, unless its gonna increase the crowd level, or make the fan experience better. It isnt gonna change our ignorant fans that want to say zach taylor sucks as a coach and blame the refs everytime we lose... if you outplay the other team you typically win the game, its that simple! We didnt show up in wk 1 against the Pats and we sort of showed up agaisnt KC. Just cant turn it over like the bengals have been doing, does the stadium upgrade mean we will win more? How about we pay Chase because we told him we would give him an extension and here we are still no new deal and now everyone knows about it ... bengals maybe win their next 2 games to get to .500 but if we dont play better. We will be watching the playoffs from home, not playing in them!!

I mean, Mike Brown is cheap and Bengals fans have been complaining about it since he took over the team. They do seem to be getting better in this regard though. Still not all the way there. I think Mike Brown's influence still holds them back from going all in to the extent that he still holds sway. Reds are the same way sadly.
Neither ownership group seems to understand that if they just spend a little bit more money to be competitive, they'll end up making a ton more money in the long run because fans will come out in droves. Cincinnati is sports crazy. The Reds were competitive for like a month last year and it ended up increasing their season attendance by like 25% or something insane. Then they did nothing in the offseason and disappointed again this year and attendance has gone back down.
The Bengals are the same. Attendance and support exploded since Burrow was drafted. Every time they do something, like letting Jessie Bates walk, letting Tee walk, or fumbling Chase's contract over trying to cheap out on guarantees, it just erodes that enthusiasm. Ok, so maybe you save a couple million up front, not paying those guarantees, but that also hurts your chance at competing for a super bowl, which ends up costing you untold millions in unrealized gains from the support that generates from fans buying tickets and merch and generally supporting the team. Even if it ends up not working out, fans will not actively try to hold it against you if they think you put in the effort. This is the short term thinking that infects the ownership groups here and it's maddening.
Same problem plagues the Pittsburgh Pirates ownership, so I'd think the Pittsburgh guys on the show could relate.

Why don't you go after Chiefs relentlessly when they didn't pay Tyreek or when Chris Jones sat out of games last year bc he wanted more money. Or when chiefs players wanted a new locker room and still haven't gotten one. Or when chiefs have all kinds of terrible grades on their NFLPA report card. Or when they didn't pay Sneed?
Why not call out the Chiefs for only paying their WRs less than Ja'Marr is making now... their top paid WR is making $7Million and Ja'Marr is making $7.74M apy (he got most of that before playing in the NFL)
Trey Hendrickson is still under contract but still got a raise last year. But we should pay Trey and trade Ja'Marr to Panthers bc they will pay him with a rookie QB and Dalton can help Ja'Marr get the stats he wants if Ja'Marr doesn't act up so much.
And why didn't you talk about how awesome Bates was when he was a Bengal? Bates should've been an all pro as a Bengal but you only talk about him now bc is isn't. I wanted them pay Bates and Tee but instead they trying to make Burrow happy by drafting and keeping Ja'Marr because Burrow didn't care about strengthening his OL after his knee injury or else Burrow would have picked Penei Sewell instead when they asked Burrow during his knee rehab
Because without Trey Hendrickson or defense would be 32nd and the NFL, he’s the only one that gets to the quarterback on our entire team that’s why you pay that. What has Chase done since his rookie year?
Our property taxes in the county that Cincinnati is in have been raised twice in six years, high gasoline prices spending 100 dollars more a week for the same groceries, car insurance and home insurance have increased in the last two years and utility bills 75 to 100 dollars more a month in the last two years...THERE is NOTHING to give to any sports team in this county...if they want tax dollars...then goodbye...we live in the REAL world...sports is fake, unreal,not necessary...go to another city...and my family has lived in this city for sixty years... enough is enough
The reason some get mad is because bengals fans have been the butt of sht since the 90s. And some has been warranted. They were the bungels. But times have changed. And I was a huge advocate of mike brown but have seen a change in the last 5 years how he does things. And as far as the stadium stuff the city owns those properties so alot of that is out of the bengals control. The last 5 6 years have seen a change but people want to keep the old going.
And im sure they have a way to pay for it themseleves being worth billions and arent just spending however much they want because the taxpayers will pay for it.

I love my Bengals and I do think Katie Blackburn with her husband and daughters will do this organization good. Since they have been given a lot of control things has been really good. Just my opinion but I think ol mike brown reared his head and screwed up the whole ja’marr Chase thing and they need to find a way to not let Mr brown have any say so any more. Bengals fans dont appreciate that you leave out the truth when you laugh at the Bengals. Other teams have charged for staduim watch parties too. The Bengals didnt sell the tvs, the county which owes the staduim did. The street that they walk across is becoming a walking only street, so no more traffic. They got a I door two years ago. They leave these facts out on purpose, they've seen the Bengals fans online angry about them leaving out facts to make them look worse, so they know they leaving stuff out

Most of your crew comes from humble beginnings but you talk and side with the wealthiest owners... even though some of the wealthiest owners struggle to manage a half way decent team. Say what you want but the Bengals have had just as much or more sucess than 2 of the wealthiest owners in the last 20+ years... Cleveland and Panthers have 2 of the wealthiest owners but have struggled, and esp Cleveland has struggled the last 20 yrs and Panthers in the last 10 yrs. Money can't always buy you a good team as they have both demonstrated

They e seen Bengals fans on Twitter tell them over and over that the Bengals didn't sell those TV's and it had nothing to do with the team. Other teams have watch parties at the stadium, the ravens and eagles did it week one. They leave the biggest facts out bc it makes the Bengals look bad and that exactly what they want. They do negative segments on the Bengals every dang week, no other team in the NFL gets that treatment from them.

Chiefs fans are notorious for whining about the refs even tho Mahomes has had 15 interceptions called back since 2020 (which leads the league and the 2nd most is ~9 called back) just like Sunday when Mahomes had 3 interceptions but 1 was called back. The refs called 8 penalties on the Bengals and only 4 on the chiefs when everyone knows that there could be a penalty called almost every snap. And how many times did the chiefs OL hold the Bengals DL but never get called. And on that dpi our DL were being held so should've been offsetting. Refs seem to call penalties 'for show' on the chiefs but then call penalties on the other team when no time left which ensures chiefs win just like Eagles superbowl
Also, you mean how Mahomes whines for flags every game... what about when Mahomes even whined to Josh Allen after the Bills game last year when chiefs got a call Mahomes didn't like, chiefs lost and Mahomes complained to Josh Allen about the call after the game
You mean dirty like when the chiefs Justin Reid injured Tyler Boyd with a hip drop tackle in the 2023 AFCCG because Boyd was cooking McDuffie and by taking out Boyd it drastically changed the game (btw the NFL used that exact hip drop tackle by chiefs safety Justin Reid as an example of an illegal hip drop tackle and the NFL said what Logan did to Mark was not an illegal hip drop tackle and would not be called today but the one on Boyd by Reid would)
