Theory: this is actually a fairly insightful representation of a musical dystopia. Music has become so clean, synthesized, formulaic, while still remaining pleasant. This is supported by the song itself as well as the stock footage used in the video, possibly taking a jab at stock music or sound libraries, though it could also just symbolize the lack of creativity that’s to come in the future of music. Or maybe this video isn’t that deep, and instead we’re already in a future where everything stated above is becoming a reality
