If he was more like an enenra he could be able to delete skin or things in general with a smoke out attack. He should be able to change the density of his smoke too to accomplish maybe cutting attacks of some kind. Just a few thoughts there.

@@Steinixos that wouldn't work for a similar reason for why luffy was resistant to the lighting. the planet just isn't that susceptible to electricity this is why the electricity in your house is "earthed" by having a wire called the earth wire connected to a long rod hammered into the ground by such any stray electricity that leaks out of wires is sent into the ground and discharged instead of being sent into your body when you touch a light switch in your house. as such a planet wouldn't really be able to be consumed by the lightning what lightning does damage in its contact with the ground, its the outburst of power sent rushing from its storage point i.e. storm clouds, ruching so fast so as to discharge its energy. as such simply firing any amount no matter how huge into the planet would only damage the initial point of discharge, you could of course just move that around the planet but at that point with the same reasoning and about as much time you could destroy the world with buggy bombs it just wouldn't be very doable

In the manga it's actually really rare to see any form of laser travelling. Most of the time we just see those lasers hit their target in the very same panel that they're fired, which indicates that they're pretty much instantaneous. There're even times when we don't even see the path of the lasers. We just see a pacifista's laser charging and in the next panel an explosion appears out of nowhere from this same laser. The only exceptions that I can think of are times when Oda can't do otherwise or times when Oda wants to specifically show a character being able to react to lasers (so he draws panels in between the moment of the laser being fired and the moment when it hits its target) I mean, even Foxy and Hancock's lasers are treated this way.
