    Very much enjoyed your descriptions of amp saturation, room sound and continued excitement for the temper! With all the noise about new amp emulators lately it is easy to be distracted from just playing !

    Thanks so much for spending the time to do this… are any of the 6 profiles more on the clean side of the spectrum? Personally, I don’t like the breakup and that’s one of the hardest things to dial in with the digital modelers. (I have the Helix, Kemper, and Headrush), and I’m wanting that tone of the TwoRock or Dumble with little to no break up as a platform for drive pedals.
    Thanks again!

    This was a good and informative video. Thank you for the free profiles, I will try them out. But here is the thing: I have been waiting for years to finally get the "one amp, one profile" thing and when Kemper released the updated, I removed every profile Rig / Profile from the unit and loaded only 10 new Liquid ones. Those correspond to two channels of 5 amps. It is so great to finally have to deal with only the amp, like in the modeller world. I don't think I will go back to the "generic way".

      I definitely get that one amp one profile thing--my Kemper actually only has 5 profiles on it atm (a few liquid, not all). I can work fast because I know those profiles so well. Btw, the free profiles are technically liquid, I just didn't load up a liquid setting. Have fun!

    Thx for the profiles man ! I Just tried these a bit and that FAT KU47 is a killer I used a noble screamer with it and its sound like the best profile i 've found for gary moore style blues . I always find the kemper overwelming that theres like 30000 profiles but I think i found a profile to stick with U made me a happy kemper user again :)

    Tones sound great. I tried to download the Kemper profiles but the "magic link" is not functioning properly. I realize you are not the IT guy but thought you should at least know.

    Hi thanks for the awesome tones, which liquid profiles in Kemper would you link with these two rock profiles?

    • @DanMmusic
      @DanMmusic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! Yes--I think the Fender style liquid profiles would likely work the best. Personally I find the gain sounds somewhat similar. Although some of the higher gain stuff is in a class of their own, so your results may vary!

    I did a mic shoot out with a few combinations a couple years back. sm57 421 combo, 57 121 combo, 57 isolated, u87 by itself and then a vintage neumann u47. The u47 was the favorite by far and gave a really rich depth. I guess it's not surprising being such an iconic microphone but it can be so inaccesible. Do you happen to know the cost of the 47 emulation that they had? Great content man.

      Glad you dug the video! Yeah I was really surprised at how good it sounded. I believe the cost of the JCF modded mic was in the $3000 range, but it may have been much higher and I'm misremembering.

    Thank you. I do not. Have any profiles of these two amps. So it’s a nice addition to my collection.
