Slovenia: Straza Summer Toboggan & Bled Castle

We had such a fun day at Lake Bled, managing to fit in 2 awesome things. Isla had so much fun on the toboggan, laughing and yelling all the way down. It was definitely tough waiting in the first 45-minute line to go up the chairlift. She was so restless and impatient but after your first ride, you get to skip the line! She was so tired after all the fun that she slept almost the entire time on dad's back walking through the caste. Bled Castle was breathtaking, with stunning views over Lake Bled and a museum with a great collection of artifacts. We ended the day so tired but so happy that we had the chance to come to this amazing country.

At 9:30 about, there was a comment that was the oldest wine in the world. That is not correct. The oldest wine is in Maribor, 2nd largest city in Slovenia.

Hmmm I thought the sign said the city of Maribor gifted that vine to Bled Castle and that’s what we saw there but upon reading it again I see that it was a scion of the oldest vine. Still pretty cool
