    39:25 was the most fascinating part of this discussion. Robbie Lawler opening a pack of Altoids only to put it back in his pocket and not eat any.

    lol, that shows perfectly how Brendan never really had it. Rogan was 100% right. real world class, potential champions don't think like that. all they see is training, fighting and winning.
    also something seemed off about Brendan here. i think his ego was taking a beating having these two sitting beside him. they are what he wanted to be so badly for so many years.

      +Chad Toots how do you know that? they put the show out in public for people to critic it and have an opinion about it. and No to be a real man or a better man it isn't necessary to be a cage fighter.

    • @eon001
      @eon001 9 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      +kjenriquez16 Smh I don't get how he could be so disorganized. He's part of this really good MMA drama called Kingdom and he NEVER brings it up or promotes it. He doesn't seem that serious about anything.

    • @kjenriquez16
      @kjenriquez16 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @eon001
      @eon001 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      kjenriquez16 lol Yea I kinda figured Callen had a reason for not being there, I just wanted to use that comment as an excuse to rant about Bryan. I've tried to tweet at him about Kingdom. The people that ran the show retweeted, but nothing from Bryan. He's not a bad guy, just a disorganized scatter brain.

    • @MinatoNamikaze-ff9dj
      @MinatoNamikaze-ff9dj 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +kjenriquez16 I hate both of these guys but Brendan needs to dump this asshole. He is bad to be in business with. I don't care how good of a friend someone is. if my best friend did this I would say "see ya". I will find someone else that i can rely on

    • @eon001
      @eon001 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Baby Joker It's going to happened. I don't really care for them either, but Callen seems to be holding Schaub back, and based on the comments, fans don't seem to give a fuck about Callen either. The guy is on thin ice.

      +MSV-one Its the fault of Evan the beard not transferring the video audio to youtube properly. He also commonly fails to adjust audio levels on itunes quite frequently. However, they are a close knit team and his work rarely comes into question. (Hes the guy that does the sections at the end with special K.) People have commonly cited his quality issues but he doesn't respond nor alter his methods. But in the end when you work for fox.....who gives a fuck.

    Condit has always been one of my favorite fighters since his WEC days so I hope he wins a title in the UFC now or at some point in his career. Both these guys are class individuals and great fighters. Its hard to root against either of them really.

  • @Daretoshi66
    @Daretoshi66 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Two of the most talented & humble fighters in the UFC. I have pictures with both of them. Met Robbie at UFC Expo Vegas, before his huge come-back. He was always helping corner other guys back then and now he's Champion! Met Carlos on weigh-in day at UCF Fight Night 24 in Seattle WA (first time here.) Class acts and fighters with huge heart. Can't believe they're going to fight each other.

    Finally some fighters!! and great fighters at that! Both guys are true definition of humble martial artists. And in a way it was good that Bryan wasn't there since he loves to ask silly fan boy questions but at the same time I missed Bryan's ability to make everyone laugh and feel like at home. That's why both of you together make the show what it is. I guess only way to make it work when fighter guests come on the show is to ask Bryan to sit there like a good boy and don't ask any questions just interject jokes. But good luck with telling Bryan he cant talk. Anyways, loved the episode!

    Great viewpoints and testimonials from all three fighters. As a huge MMA fan, it's particularly heartbreaking to hear them talk about the intense and brutal training in the early days - stuff that has shortened careers and hampered fighters' ability to perform when it counts. I'm glad that people are starting to train smarter. You look at a guy like Forrest Griffin and wonder where he could be if he didn't go to war in the gym every day.

    I think robbie dosnt want to like or get to friendly with carlos since he's going to have to try and KO him on a later day.

    This episode is cool having upcoming opponents being interviewed, would be better with Bryan as far as comedy, definitely needed a break in the monotony of Brendan asking the two how they got to where they are and how they maintain their drive. It'd be epic to have Conor on with his opponent, but not Jose as you'd spend half the time having to translate for and to Jose; get TJ and Dominick Cruz on before they fight, that would be brill.
