    You shouldn't have those heroes and items that cost a gold in the display. During set-up you set those aside and redraw until only copper and silver cost cards are displayed. Then, shuffle the set aside cards back into the deck.
    Gold cost cards after set-up will remain in the display.
    I saw the note on screen that you drew from the wrong deck, but I'm not sure if you realize that you played the whole game using the wrong decks. They have a character portrait in the bottom right to determine whose deck it belongs to.
    In the first round of the last encounter, I don't think the first hero played (Serena?) has cleave but you attacked the Orc Warlord and the Naga.

      Man, never saw that sentence in the rules despite numerous plays, but it makes perfect sense. Thank you!

      Yeah, i wondered why Serena could atttack two people, i also did not understand why the Wench was able to snipe two times. Still, its a very nice and fun game.

      Gah, more mistakes! Serena shouldn’t have had cleave. I thought it was the barbarian 😱.
      As for the wrench, she was splashing 2, not sniping twice... at least that’s what I meant to do!

    Love this game! FYI you're not forced to Taunt if there are Monsters on the Location, even if the Defending Player doesn't have Active Monsters. They are free to attack the Location Monsters without Taunting.

      You are correct. Good clarification, thanks!

    Thanks. This is one of the best games ever. I really hope they will put out more expansions than just the one they allready did. Could you do the scenario with the wolf as well? I always loose that one...

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m about 50% on that scenario myself.
      We will see if I have time to do another playthrough of this. There are a bunch of new games coming soon I want to cover. But hopefully I’ll loop back to this one eventually!

    Watching this in 2023. While I like Aeon’s End, I often find it too much to manage multi-handed solo. So just picked this up and I’m looking at the expansions.

      Hope you have a great time with it! Though I'll be honest... I like this as a deckbuilder much more than Aeon's End, but I find Aeon's End much easier to multi-hand. In Aeon's End you generally only need to worry about the cards of the mage whose turn card gets pulled. In this one since you are simultaneously playing cards from every hand most turns, you gotta look around a lot more :)

    Watched this after your name drop in the review for Thunderstone Quest. For purely solo, I wasn’t as attracted to the layout of this one. I don’t have barricades and I wasn’t sure whether it was worthwhile, What makes you prefer this one over TQ? And were you specifically talking about solo playing barricades or just playing TQ with some other solo variant? Sorry, new to TQ in general, really dig the look and dungeon set up.

    How big is the box? We have some deckbuilders already but a nice portable one is something I'm often interested in. Particularly a fantasy coop one.

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s an odd shape. Not too big width or length, but a lot deeper than you might expect.
      That said, if you bring only the components you need for a single scenario, you can probably fit it all in a couple ziplocks ;)

      @@OneStopCoopShop thanks. Might want to check it out. The wife has a nice sizable handbag but I might get in trouble if I suggest carting something the size of Aeons End down to the pub.

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Lol, yes, it is certainly a fraction of Aeons End size!

    Mike,
    Is this the game you mentioned in your 2020 top 10 (You said Greyport would probably be your 2019 number 1)

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is it exactly. Fabulous game for cooperative Deckbuilding, especially with 3+ players (or solo 3-handed).

      He’s taking basically all of February off to finalize his house stuff. But he should be coming back strong in March!
      Trust me, I want him back too. Trying to do almost all of the content myself is wearing me out 😰
