Thank you so much. I really enjoyed your video. I just realized about a year ago that the label maker (Dymo brand) has a bar code feature. My label maker is just like yours. All you have to do is go to the bar code feature and type in your item number or price and it will generate the bar code for you.

I'm using the square terminal with the hub and scanner...using the website you suggested but going to the second tab and creating the 30 barcodes on one sheet, using avery labels and then printing.
Nice job Diane.. After searching hundreds of tutorials over this barcoding info. You are the only one that explains It properly! A huge big thank you for an awesome job!

This is really helpful. My main query was whether you could still scan barcodes without having Square for Retail, which you answered in the video. You just saved me £50 a month, so thanks! Did you know, it's also possible to create your own Code 39 barcodes in your Excel sheet by downloading the Code 39 font. I had downloaded this a couple of years ago and now forget where I got it but you could probably find it on a google search. My other takeaway from your video is that a dedicated label printer is definitely worthwhile. We have been printing on the Square for Retail layouts for a full sheet at a time as we don't have a label printer, but they print 60 on a page, so if you only need one, you have to wait. It's a bit of a pain. Thanks again for giving me the right info to change my system and save money!
OH, and the other thing is that if you have an Android tablet, you can plug the Voyager straight into it for scanning with Square, as that's what we do. Hope this helps someone else.
