Apparently not just me that thought Siyeon is really similiar to Hyolin in every perspective
it makes me so happy to see the similarities between them, though i didn't really notice it until i reacted to their live stage performances. (but i said even before that, that siyeon was probably my bias lol, her voice did it for me) anyway i noticed their similarities when i watched the live stages and mention it in that video, after that i read some facts about her where it says that her role model is sistar's hyolyn and bitch my jaw FELL!!! hyolyn is my first and ultimate bias in kpop PERIODT because one of the first kpop songs i heard were sistar - so cool and damn - that smile, voice and her charisma just made me fall in love instantly. kind of like what happened with siyeon. it feels like the 2nd stage of my kpop life phase or something I DUNNO now i typed way too much but thank you for watching and commenting 💕

Gahyeon was my bias for a long time and Siyeon was my bias wrecker, but I’ve been getting way more into Dreamcatcher lately, and Siyeon overtook Gahyeon as my bias. all 7 members are just so loveable that while my ult is Handong I can't choose between the others. they own my heart ♡♡♡ Also, they've started uploading Vlogs on their own channel (Gahyeon is now main vlogger skksksksk) which are really cute and help to get to know the girls even more if you wanna check those out. They even update them every 2-4 days~
Can't wait to see you listen to their b-tracks. Gotta be honest their intros to their albums are also worth listening to.

tbh, Sua and Siyeon were the last members I learned because you're right, they are hard to tell apart at first. And it doesn't help that they're often paired/shipped together. But the biggest difference is with Sua: she's the shortest/smallest member (I think Gahyeon just barely surpassed her), she's the loudest member, she's the sexiest member (there's a 9 second audio clip floating around Twitter that us InSomnias are afraid to listen to in public lol), and she has this Greek statuesque nose when you view her at profile angle.
Definitely check out their b-sides and covers, they are very versatile.

A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION THOUGH, HAVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT HOW GAY DREAMCATCHER IS YET
Point 1: All of their songs are gender-neutral, they don't mention boys once
Point 2: They never change the pronouns when they cover songs, and cover lots of songs by male artists. Yoohyeon also covered "Secret Love Song" by Little Mix, which is a song about a lesbian romance.
Point 3: They never turn down the idea of relationships with other girls. SuA answered positively to a female fan's marriage proposal, Siyeon set up a "date" with a Japanese radio host on-air, and in an interview when asked her ideal type Yoohyeon said "hard-working people". The interviewer repeated the answer saying "hard-working men" and Yoohyeon made a point of correcting her saying "hard-working people, ALL kinds of people"

These unhealthy guides are indeed great to learn their names! I thought, like crack videos, they may be a bit spoilery, but it may work even better. When you now watch songs like Lullaby (with names in the lyrics) you also know nice fun facts about them, so it'll be easier.
I hate the label "lead" vocal/dancer it's so confusing! You only have one main vocal/dancer/rapper, so that's the only thing that means anything. (SiYeon is main vocal, SuA main dancer and Dami main rapper).
You can have several lead vocal/..., so it only means you are more important than others but not main. I've heard the term vocal line (SiYeon, JiU, Yoohyeon, maybe SuA?), that could refer to the main plus lead vocals? As everyone must be something, some are called (non-lead) vocal or dancer. But of course everyone is both. And anyone may or may not rap of course. Some groups have roles for center and visual. Korean obsession for rank and status takes some getting used to!
What I get from most groups is that main vocal gets the high notes/killer part in the bridge and does most adlibs while lead vocals usually get the most lines. But yeah, I really dislike this obsession of positions, like not everyone has to be something "special" to have their place in a group. Also visual is literally the dumbest position because there's no ugly idol in any group but that's on that.
Definitely listen to Sleep-walking when you get to the b-sides. Probably my favorite song from them.

This guide videos are kinda old (from Fly High era like a year ago) but still works to get to know them a little bit better. Hope you could watch some more recent guides (if there’s any) so you could learn more about them.
Fun fact: Handong is my bias and has been since their debut and at first i was so sad that she barely got any lines on their titles and b-side songs, and i did thought that it was because like you mentioned she still wasn’t as fluent in speaking korean as she is now, but now in their more recent albums she’s gotten more lines every comeback and i’m so happy for her, and for all Handong stans (like me ☺️) cus her voice is beautiful and we finally got to hear more of it. On their album “Alone in the city, (Title track - What)” there’s a b-side song called “July 7th” and i called that song as Handong’s song because is the first song on all their albums where she sings the most. 😁Please give it a listen.
You should check their full albums as well, the songs are very diverse, all of them have different genre than their title tracks.

Yoohyeon is really good in learning languages. She's almost perfect with English and speaks decent amount of Chinese Mandarin. She knows some other languages too.
